Hey FG,
Finished it up last night. Loved it.

Guys, this is a fantastic piece of work, worth a read.

Geroge Kennedy... MY GUY!

Thanks Darkside. I really appreciate that.

And for anyone who may be interested, Life Cycle will soon be on Amazon and possibly your local bookstore, depending on how things go here in the next few months with reviews, press coverage, and advance sales. But if you're interested in your own autographed advance copy, you can still come directly to the source here.

When will it be available at my local library?

A much-belated thanks to Doug and Hack (as well as a few other board luminaries) for taking a chance on an unknown author and buying an advance copy of my book before it's "officially" released next month.

And it goes without saying how much I enjoyed getting to put some faces to some names before and after the bowling and getting to know some of you on a "deeper" level.

Will it be in stores then? I hope Borders has a coupon that week...

Right now I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It'll be up on Amazon and other e-tailers next month; but beyond that, I'm not yet sure.

FG- who influenced you as a writer? On Amazon they tell you 'customers who bought this item also bought'. What books do you think would be listed along with yours?

Is it (at all) scary? I'd like to read it but I get freaked out pretty easily.

Keyser--Unfortunately, this isn't an easy-to-categorize novel, as it spans several genres and never really embraces one. Some people have said it reminds them of Dean Koontz with less violence and a more depth, and others say it reminds them of a Dan Brown novel in that it has so many short chapters with fast-paced action, although the subject matter is entirely different. And some have even compared it loosely to some Christian novels like the Left Behind series, though that certainly wasn't my intent.

And Spaulding--although there are some scenes of a paranormal nature (think of a toned-down "Sixth Sense"), it is certainly not a horror novel, and I don't think anyone's been kept up at night from being scared. It gets mildly creepy here and there, but most of the thrills come in more of an uplifting way than a horrific way, if that makes any sense.

I'm surprised then that you've lasted here so long.

If anyone is still interested in the book and hasn't yet pulled the trigger, you can purchase it now on Amazon.com. Just type in "Alex J. Ferguson" and it comes right up to the top. $16.99 + shipping. Thanks in advance!
