YOu couldnt have predicted that.
After week two and the Bears lose 44-40 and Cutler throws for 5 TDs and one Int.

"Orton wooda manijed da game and keept da defense off da field. Cutler Sucks. He scores to much"

I give the Bears credit. They made a move. Cutler could be there for ten plus years. What Bears QB has ever done that?

I love how North would say the reason the Bears lost games last year was not because of Orton but because of the defense. Yet he blamed Cutler for the losses the Broncos had while not blaming the sorry Bronco defense. Then he kept on skewing stats in favor of Orton every time Jiggs brought up something that favored Cutler.

I only saw about 10 minutes of the show today and couldn't fathom North's stupidity. He brings up Cutler's 17-20 record and then talks about Orton being 21-12 as a starter. But then he made an disparaging remark about Grossman "how that work for ya."

Well Grossman record as a starter was 19-13, comparable to Orton and better than Cutler. So in Pappy's world Grossman is a better QB than Cutler and about the same as Orton?

And he said that is QB rating the last 3 games was 50. His rating for the last three games when he was supposedly terrible was 73.83, not far off Orton season rating of 79.

Watched for a bit this morning and what gets me is North's insistence that had they won the Atlanta game, the Bear would have made the playoffs and Orton would still be our QB.

Moron, the Atlanta game was the sixth game of the year, took the Bear to 3-3. They had plenty of other opportunities after that game to right the ship. We all know that there were other games (Carolina, Tampa Bay) that they should have won as well, but Orton did nothing in those games down the stretch that would support his argument.

Talk about his performance in the second Minnesota game, the first Green Bay game, and most importantly that Houston game. Make some plays there and then things might be different.

Look at his numbers in those three wins games down the stretch:

JAX 20-34, 219 yds. 2 TD, 1 INT
NO 24-40, 172 yds. 0 TD, 2 INT
GB 14-27, 142 yds. 1 TD, 2 INT

Did the Bear win any of those games because of Orton? North seems to think so, moron.

The insainty that Pappy thinks orton is a better qb then cutler just amazes me, he just doesnt get it, Cutler is a pro bowl qb, Orton will never be, if Cutler was a bear last year and put up the same numbers, he would have broke 70% of th bears qb records, Orton hasnt broken any, orton is a back up qb, he can be a starter on a so-so team, cutler can make a so-so team a contender, he refuses to understand it.

Yea, he did that a few times this morning and Jigs just rolled his eyes, of course jen agreed with him, again, pappy has to fall back on jens nfl expertise to get somone to agree with him, typical.

If 100 scouts, coaches and players were asked who they'd rather have, 99 or more would take Cutler. I admit they took a chance by giving up the #1's but there is no question who the better QB is.

Except to one guy anyway.

Pappy is starting a petition to retire #18 for Da Bear... greatest Bear QB of this century.

The first time Cutler does something dumb,North will tear him a new one!
It was ok (in pappy's world) for Orton to miss every deep pass he threw last year, though.

The good news for the Bears & their fans is that North thinks this is a bad move. Add this to the Luol Deng top five list.

North sucks!

Didn't North say Harbaugh was a better QB than Aikman.

Are they still doing the "Jagbag/Kudos" segment? That really didn't work on TV, and it didn't work without a bunch of callers to make it somewhat interesting.

The still graphic that they popped up only wanted me to jump on the board because the graphic looked like and reminded me of bigfan's cartoonish bagged fan guy.
