Some seriously bad luck for the T. Wizzle: missed perhaps the biggest move the Bears have made in his lifetime.

As a football guy, don't take a fucking vacation within a month of the NFL draft, for Christ's sake. He deserves it.
Cutler could have probably extended his career by three or four years. He would have had to take far fewer hard hits over the middle.

Well, I gotta think they'll phone him tomorrow. It's not the end of the world, but it would have been an easy show for him!

When exactly do you propose Waddle take his vacation? One cannot predict trades when scheduling vacations. His girls likely are on spring break and he's out of town with them. I think your thought, Mr. Reason, is unReasonable.

Even I am allowed a momentary lapse of reason once in a while. However, I don't get paid sawbucks for mine...

Moreover, the historic risk of missing a blockbuster Bears trade has been negligible.

Cut Waddle some slack! I bet Tom's wishing he could be on the air right now talking about the Jay Cutler trade like everyone else in sports talk radio today. His vacation was planned long before this blockbuster deal was made yesterday. He does more than enough work as it is, whether it's with "Silvy" during the week, with him & Corey McPherrin Sunday nights on FOX 32's "Final Word", or even pinch hitting for Corey during the week on "FOX Chicago News" or whatever the hell they call their newscasts...
