Statistically Rogers had a better year (especially given that it was his first as a starter) in every major QB stat except total yards (in which both ranked high).

I don't know to what extent this affects things but Cutler was playing with a 7th, yes 7th, string halfback by the end of the year. Denver was using a playground offense as it tried to make a playoff push.
My guess is that it explains why Denver passed so much.

You still have to consider him top 5 because he's a winner.

Members of the Orton Lunatic Fringe make similar arguments about their boy Kyle.

I'm talking playoffs and Super Bowl winner. Not regular season winner.

If you think Orton is on the same level as Rothlisberger then you're dumb.

i was not a real believer in roethlisberger until this past postseason. the guy seems to have a knack for winning, and that is all that really matters at the end of the day. he will never have gaudy stats, but the guy is tough to bring down and seems to have a lot of heart. i will take a pocket passer any day to the new breed of running qb that runs 40 yards before throwing an incompletion. he takes a beating though, i wonder about his durability for the long-term.

Most of the great QBs are in the AFC

In the NFC, Cutler might be the best

Warner - He might be the best right now but he's old and has a lot of talent around him

McNabb - Getting up in age. Cutler might be better

Romo - He might be tied with Cutler.

Eli Manning - I'd take Cutler over him.

Matt Ryan - Cutler is better right now.

Aaron Rogers - I like him but Cutler is better.

Did you omit Brees intentionally or because you are a dipshit?

Oh yeah. He slipped my mind. I'll put him as even with Cutler, but Cutler has more upside. Brees has peaked. Cutler is bigger, faster and has a better arm than Brees. Cutler has the best arm in the NFL.

Brees throws alot of interceptions that are ran back for six that being said I would take Brees in his prime over Cutler in his prime. Cutler is almost to the level of Brees and he might be four years younger. Ill take Cutler. Fuck im confusing myself.

Dr. Kenny should be the QB for the Bears!

had cutler stayed in denver you would not hear this love coming from beardown.

i think cutler will be very good, but the bears still need to give him a solid #1 option.
