Sorry Lawrence and Joe, that show is a NO GO.

The thing I loved about Hit n Run was allowing the guys who are at the park seeing and talking to the players and coaches express more than a thirty second update.

If Lawrence or Joe, are going to be back reporting from the parks, talking to players, coaches etc. than I am more than happy to keep the show alive. If it is 2 guys sitting in the studio all week and is just created to fill more time, than scrap the show and make it a Roto Baseball show.

So is Larry gonna have this show permanently? Mitch wants him on the air all week. He has Mon-Fri yet Mitch still gave him Bears Sunday. Now he's giving him Hit n Run Sunday?

I guess it shows what Mitch thinks of all of his part timers. Or he just sees something in Larry that nobody else can see. Maybe he's planning for Mac to replace Larry and is gonna make Larry the baseball reporter when that happens. So he's giving him Hit n Run cuz Jesse had that show as the baseball reporter.

Beardown, your guess is as good as mine concerning "Hit & Run's" future now that George Ofman & Jesse Rogers have moved on to ChicagoSportsWebio.com. I know that Zach Zaidman was hosting until this weekend, where he's been holding court in Detroit at Westwood One's Radio Row at the NCAA Men's Final Four, not far from Ford Field hosting solo shows of his own on The SCORE the last 3 days. Something tells me LoHo's hosting yesterday was a onetime deal because 670's been short of staff lately.

According to the 670thescore.com schedule, LoHo's got "Hit & Run" duty again this coming Sunday morning on The SCORE, building a bridge to the White Sox & Twins at "The Cell" come 9a.

Zach is taking this coming week off (well deserved since he's been going non-stop since Bears season started in July). He'll return in two weeks. David Schuster sits in with Laurence this week. Beyond that, I don't know who will be with Zach.
