I just want to let all you listeners know what great people Mike and BeBe North are.
I started advertising on the Score in 2002. After being on the Score for a year I wanted Mike North to record my commercial. I was told Mike will not record for just anyone and I thought let me give it a try. Mike and I talked and Mike agreed to record my commercial.
I started to notice immediate results. My business increased greatly and people would come up to me and say "Your Mike North's guy" or start asking about Mike.
Whenever I needed something I would call Mike or BeBe and they would always try to help me.
I remember a couple years ago the Score had Mike do a live read for another personal injury attorney. I could hear in Mike's voice he was not happy. He never did a life read again for a competing attorney. In fact when another attorney who practices in an area of law that I don't asked Mike to record her commercial Mike asked me if I minded and I said no problem. Mike could have gotten alot more money from a large law firm but Mike is loyal.
When Mike left the Score people would come up to me and ask what is Mike going to do and I would say don't bet against Mike he is like Rocky he keeps fighting and winning.
When I wanted to start my own Sports show with Robin Earl, Mike agreed to sponsor my show no questions asked.
I will always be there for Mike and BeBe because I know they have my back.

Actually, the story I heard is that Mike first refused and told you in no uncertain terms to get lost, but then he woke up the next morning and felt something wet and found, to his horror, that all his precious jars of Marconi giardiniera had been smashed open and dumped in his bed. He let out a scream that was heard throughout Pappyland and next thing you know, he's doing your read.
