Happy Opening Day!!!!

I've got them winning the division. They're already in first. The Tigers, Twins and Indians lost yesterday. If they beat the Royals today they'll be alone in first after one game. I know. I'm a jack ass for thinking this.

I am afraid that the high sky will effect CQ and DeWayne and cost the Sox a victory.

They better play a clip of Leo Getz when Chris Getz bats. I don't imagine it will be the "they fuck you in the drive through" scene.

i totally forgot dj was in the radio booth, and to be honest, i think he fits right in. way more chatty/talkative/intense than he ever was with hawk. it could be the opening day excitement, but i think it was a smart move.

Hawk is feeling the pressure to match stone's baseball knowledge...he wont.

I noticed this in a few spring games. Hawk is a complete chowder head and he does this shit every year. I look forward to the hawkaroo packing it in. Please Hawk go play with the grand kids already.

Lot of pitches for Buehrle already, and not enough 1st pitch strikes.

This game is proceeding at a snail's pace.

While Mark Buehrle has thrown a lot of pitches through the first 3 innings, the Royals have left 5 on base so far in the opener. As for DeWayne Wise leading off, 2 strikeouts. I don't think it'll be long before Chris Getz takes over the leadoff spot for the White Sox. Getz is this year's Alexei Ramirez in my opinion, and Gordon Beckham may have to wait quite sometime before he gets called up...

Make it 7 LOB for Kansas City, as Buehrle gets out of another jam, thanks to #17 Chris Getz Southfield, MI.

Why does Ozzie have Alexei batting so far down in the order?
