Anybody do this last year? I've been thinking about giving this as a gift but my husband is not huge into football.

From the website...
Soldier Field will host its 2nd Annual Father’s Day Brunch to honor Chicago’s finest DADs. This will be one of two times during the year when the United Club’s fine dining is open to the public. Families will not only be able to treat their “Dads” to the finest brunch in town, but also to meet some of their favorite football legends AND take a shot at kicking a field goal on the stadium field! Pricing and reservations TBD.

Sounds like it would be more for your kids than your husband...Stick with good dolphin's advice about fucking the stupid out of him and he'll have memories to last a lifetime.

Yeah, but I said do it with a strap on. I may be in the minority but I don't think that would be a great present.

Rectum? Damn near killed em!

On a more serious note, I went to it two years ago. I thought it was a good time but probably overpriced. The buffet is identical to the one presented on Sunday's during the season in the stadium club....good, but not great for the price. You get to meet a couple of players but only if you buy on overpriced item for them to sign. After brunch, you walk through a narrow cordoned off line to a point on the field for a 10 yard field goal attempt and then are quickly moved out.

Like I said, it's good for the novelty the first time but probably not worthy of a second time.

Anyone know if Soldiers Field is doing something similar?
