Fast ball down the middle on the first pitch is just crazy to Soriano, don't these people pay attention?

Mercy. Soriano and A-Ram carrying the team. D-Lee needs to be dropped in the lineup.

I think that was a slider that didn't.

Maybe so. I am watching the Brewer fed on MLBTV and their announcers were complaining about a first ball fastball.

No. Theriot is batting .560 and Fukudome .420 w/ the 1st two RBI's in a tight game tonight. I know what you're saying, but it's just not quite right.

It was kinda sorta dropping at the end. It was definitely a pipeball either way.

Doesn't matter to me, they all look the same on the way out. It was a feel good, no-doubter too.

Nice! Well, that was a statement against Gregg.

Marmol had a tough road with Braun and Fatty, and he struck em both out. Very nice!

I guess all Lee's got to do is hit a homer and flip off the crowd and you'll be set.

And down a 1/5 of Jack in 12 seconds, flat.

It was nice to see Marmol make Tubby look like a chump. He never even took the bat off his shoulder.

Who's the closer now, Lou?

Yes it sure was nice. I cannot stand that guy. Him and his size 50 pants drive me crazy.

Bringing Marmol in today in the 9th was the right call.

Gregg is still your closer though.

If the game is on the line in the 7th or 8th Marmol will still be who Lou brings in to get out of the jam. Tonite was a good spot for Marmol. Lou already had him warming up in case the Cubs tied the game. Why sit him down when he is already warming up? Might as well bring him in. If a save situation comes up tomorrow my money is on Gregg being the man.

Just as I said last nite, Cubs will come home 4-2 for the opener Monday.
