I still do not understand why you put Alexei down so low, I would swap him and Fields.

I'd exchange him with Konerko. There isn't a huge diminution in power, it provides speed after dye/thome and it should give him plenty of RBI opportunities.

Yeah that would work as well. I just do not understand at all putting him in the 8th spot.

You really want to bat Konerko 8th? Why not 7th and bump AJ to 8th?

It's a windy night at "The Cell", and a gametime temperature better suited for the Bears than the White Sox, 39 degrees. I think Crede's homer was wind aided.

You got that right, RFDC! 7 runs in the top 7th put this one away for the Twins...Bartolo Colon gets the assignment come 3p tomorrow afternoon on FOX vs. Francisco Liriano. I feel sorry to a certain extent for Joe Buck & Tim McCarver, who've been sent here to call this game tomorrow on the season premiere of FOX's "Saturday Baseball".

Why in the HELL is Mike MacDougal still on this roster? What has he possibly done during the regular season to show that he deserves to be on the mound? He has never been good in a White Sox uniform, and never will be.

Someone tell Grace and Thom Aj isn't catching...I thought I heard Grace was good? Maybe he needs a slump breaker!

Ya gotta love a back up catcher named Corky.

The name matches the pre/post game host's baseball acumen. So, I guess it fits.

Hopefully the Bullpen can hold onto this one. Colon looked surprisingly good.

For a man that's lived here for over 10 years, you would think that Grace would know that the street thats 1600 N is not called North St.

spmack, I don't know if prowling the Wrigleyville bars for slumpbusters would qualify as living there.

I saw the Ranger in the bullpen bar before the game last night and I was going to introduce myself as Mr Reason but I was afraid he'd hit me with his microphone or sic one of the Flying Zarang brothers on me.

Good choice, Keyser.
You should have asked him if he thinks Dye is still an above average fielder, or as Ranger said previously, "not a liability in the outfield".
Ranger is baseball retarded.

Thumbs down to me...Awfulannouncing.com had Joe Buck & Tim McCarver working this game, but I was out enjoying the nice weather today and didn't realize that Thom Brennaman & Mark Grace called this game on FOX Sports instead of Joe & Tim. I bet Thom & Mark didn't know that Anthony John Pierzynski even had a backup on the roster...

No one talking about today's game? It's already been on for an hour and a half....Thome with a nice shot to right-center field.

Great job to win this series after getting blown out on Friday. Quentin had a hellava catch in the 5th or 6th inning there. Fields also had a nice play on a grounder from Gomez

If Fields can play like this throughout the year, that would be awesome. He's finally healthy, so we'll see if he's really any good.

That was really a well played game all around, I just hope Getz is okay. Was out skiing since Wednesday so apparently missed a few days of PANIC!!! but things looked good except for Richard. Hawk and Stone were a nice listen as well and Stone seemed to keep Hawk on the level a bit more with the umpire complaining. Hope that keeps improving.
