Yes it sure was nice. I cannot stand that guy. Him and his size 50 pants drive me crazy.

Agreed.

Cubs should have won game one and yet, they could have easily lost yesterday. Having Dempster going tonight, with a chance to take the series is okay. Maybe Lou will wake the hell up, start Hoffpauir at 1st, and have Reed Johnson, Joey Gathwright and Fukadome in the outfield in the 9th, when he is trying to protect a lead. Yes, I would have Derek Lee at 1st in the 9th too. All in all, if the Cuibs take tonights game, to win their 1st two series' on the road, it will have been a very nice road trip, to open the season.

Anyone else notice Magic guard Jameer Nelson in the seats behind the Cubs dugout?

Makes sense since the Bucks and Magic play tomorrow. I wonder if he is a Cubs fan?

Memo to D. Lee
Please feel free to start hitting soon. Like, whenever you're ready, man, we're like ready for you.
P.S. If you don't hit Suppan, against whom you're batting something like 500 against in 40 some appearances, it might be time to sit a couple days.

Ok, not trying to give the guy too hard of a time, and I know it's early, but like when do you think about sitting DLee for a game, you know just to rest a game? You can't keep o-fer-ing in the 3 spot.

Lou is a stubborn ol' bastard, so who knows when he will actually do something. DP Lee is definitely "missing" something in his game. He of the weak ground ball and warning track power.

Looks like the cubs scouting report on Fielder says he don't like that inside slider.

Good lord it's tough to watch this Brewers pitching staff (and I use that term lightly). These fuckers are a joke.

Well, Len, although the Cubs had a 4 run lead, you're gonna want to build on that cause these guys can score runs in bunches and in a hurry. No lead is safe.

Wait, wouldn't it have made sense to move Fuk to Right when Bradley was replaced by Johnson?

No, Lou knew he needed Johnson for that play.

Helluva catch right there.

Love to see Tubby get another opportunity to look speechless. Now go on a damn diet!

WOW...Reed Johnson with another great catch! Wasn't Dempster on the mound last year when he made that diving catch?

Nice sportsmanship of Prince Fielder to tip his cap to Johnson for the catch...gotta respect it.

Tubby wasn't tipping his cap. He took it off to look and see if his candy bar was still in it.

I noticed in that replay the Cubs bullpen pitchers seem to be turned and looking at the jumbotron or something...if that did end up a home run it could have nailed em right in the face.

I was going to say that it wasn't a save situation when Gregg came in, but it would be because he'll give up a run. But before I could post it, he already gave up a run.

Of course Greg couldn't have a 1,2,3 inning. He has allowed a run in every appearance this season.
