This is reason # 70,0000 why Vinny needs to be fired. How the hell do you allow your team to come out and play like this game means nothing. They had a great shot at beating the Magic and now they have a slim at best chance of advancing against the Celtics.

How did he "allow" them to play like the game means nothing? Did he say that in his pre-game pep talk? I agree that Vinny isn't much of a coach, and should probably be shit canned, but that's not a reason at all. No coach "allows" his team to play bad or not try. That was on the players tonight.

The Bulls played zero defence in this game.
Who told Thomas he had a jump shot? That SOB deserves the DOTY award.

Nas, you're my guy, but in no way was this loss tonight all Vinny's fault. We know he can't coach for shit, but these players have to step up once in a while and just keep a fucking man in front of them for fuck's sake. Roko Ukic was out there clowning Rose.

Also, if your prediction of them beating the Celtics really happens, do you still think Vinny needs to be fired? How could they fire a guy whose team knocks off the defending champs?

I agree that this is why he WON'T get fired...but it doesn't mean that he SHOULDN'T be fired.

I am completely on board with Vinny needing to be fired, just was wondering what in the world was going on in Nas's mind.

If I were the Bulls coach I would recognize that this is a young and inexperienced team....

I have been listening to this excuse for nearly 10 years. ENOUGH.

They've had one for the past 10 years. Skiles was able to coach the Bulls up nearly every game. I can't recall the Bulls losing many games they should win with Skiles but I do recall them winning many games that when you looked at the match ups on paper you thought they would lose by 25.

Tell me, who is so young on this team besides Rose? These guys (AHEM! Heinrich!) have been around for a while.. Thomas what now three years? Noah ain't a rookie. These guysn aren't too young to understand the importance of this game, nor are they too young to play an NBA quality game. that excuse no longer plays.

Vinny should never have been hired. That is obvious.

The fact that he has met the incredibly low expectations anyone had of him doesn't change that.

To Vinny's credit, when asked about the playoffs, he said that his focus was the Raptors. The team didn't come to play, but I don't see it being Vinny's fault.

As for the game, this was certainly one of the most disappointing losses in recent memory. A true hall-of-fame choke job. I checked the box score, and I'm just sure there's fraud going on, because it says the Bulls shot 42%. The NBA should fucking purge this game from their records because it reflects so poorly on the league. I think the Bulls set a league record for the most balls inexplicably thrown out of bounds. Wasn't it supposed to be the Cubs' job to reel you in and kick you square in the nuts?

Rose had a nice offensive game, but the Raptors were playing 5 on 4 on the offensive end.
