A little late to the party here. Its been hard for me to find a reliable internet connection. Fantastic game today. Dont have much to add besides the obvious. I didnt think we would win the series and still dont, but it was great to see Rose play the way he did today. Noah too. To see our young players play with so much poise down the stretch against such a veteran team really makes you hopeful for the future.

I'm on record with B&B-Bulls win the series. They didn't agree with me but that's ok...

Derrick Rose was awesome today, and more proof positive that he's the NBA Rookie of the Year. #1 tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 1970 NBA Playoff scoring record with 36, plus added 11 assists before he fouled out with seconds remaining in overtime. Joakim Noah also had a double-double with 11 & 17 rebounds, plus Brad Miller corraled 12 rebounds off the bench. At the end, how 'bout Tyrus Thomas? The much-maligned power forward rose to the occasion with 6 of his 16 points, including what turned out to be the game winner, in the extra period. What made this win even cooler had to be the camera shots of Vinny Del Negro's father in attendance. He was quite a good luck charm as the Bulls stole Game 1. More impressive than that...The defense on Ray Allen, held to ONLY 4 points in a game he'd like to forget.

Nas, I'm sure the Celtics will be in a foul mood come Monday night, and head coach Doc Rivers sounded pissed during the postgame news conference having to answer constant questions about Kevin Garnett. He ain't playing, and that better be the end of it.

no kidding- even vinny was cool calm and collective when answering questions. not a drop of sweat on his brow. the celtics leader was drowning in his own perspiration- i think we REALLY got under their skin!

It was nice to see a team like the bulls go on the road and play well, especially when watching a hyped team like the young trailblazers shit down their pants last night at home.

I'm shocked beyond belief that that team got crushed by Houston. Just when I think I have the NBA somewhat figured out, something like that happens. Bizarre.

How 'bout the 76ers turning an 18 point deficit into a 2 point road win to steal home court away from the Magic in Orlando? Also, how 'bout the Hawks manhandling the Heat in Game 1 of their series in Atlanta last night?

He was at the elbow, he came off, hit one, got a little bit more confidence, hit a couple more, missed the one on the baseline, but they were all good shots. I'm fine with that."

I'm not.

I loved the victory but I am starting to get concerned that this keeps Vinny Del Negro as the coach next year.

This team won in spite of him not because of him.

Even though he was playing as good as Rose has in a Bulls uniform he was a spectator watching others way too much. You have to get it to your best player late in games.
There was no play designed if Pierce missed the second free throw in regulation. The most basic strategy is to have your two gaurds run the sidelines and have the rebounder quickly throw it to whichever player is open. That gives you a chance for a makeable half court shot instead of a desperation 3/4 court heave.

I hope Paxson analyzes the constant coaching mistakes by Del Negro instead of some perceived improvement based off of this series and how the Bulls ended the season and brings in a real coach who can actually help the team.

Do what you did in the 1st game ,run their asses ragged. The key to running is of course Offensive glass so the clown
and Tyrus can not rest on their laurels. Be consistant

Sadly, David Schuster said today that he thought there wasn't any way that Del Negro will be replaced next year.

Haven't seen a ton of thoughts on last night other than it sucked. Here were my thoughts from the 300 level:

1. Salmons is not a 3. He's a 2. Pierce abused him by bodying him.

2. The Celtics adjusted their defense to take away the pick and roll and the Bulls had no answer.

3. The Bulls guards might be the worst around on D. They let freaking Starbury (nice tattoo by the way) score in double digits and look like a quality guard.

4. Brad Miller, please dont ball handle.

Good prediction. I'm going with that, too. Celtics will be just interested enough to win this series.
