I'd also agree with SSE. The Red Wings will score on a power play so teams can't afford the penalty. From what I can tell the Blackhawks have improved but they still aren't very good.

The team really needs to quit saying Kane had the flu. Everyone knows he is beat up and this series is to physical for his soft ass.

Soft? This is only the third game he's missed out of 167. For being 19, generously 5'10" and 170 lbs, and being the target of every other team's aggression, I'd venture to say he's anything but soft. He didn't miss a shift after getting drilled by Bourque in game 1, and fought through a hit to make pass that only about 2 other guys in the league can make to Sharp for game 2's game-tying goal. Not to mention he's been playing with a bad ankle since late December.

I think you need to re-examine your definition of soft.

he might not be physically soft, but you can't tell me that he doesn't play intimidated at times, and that he disappears for games at a time. Saying that, I do believe that he is getting a lot better this year, and that he should progress even more in the next couple of years in regards to not playing intimidated

I would say this is comparable to a NFL team being down by 14-17pts in the 3rd Quarter, the game is not out of reach yet, but sure not looking good and going to take a lot of work to turn it around.

With 10 mins in the second period left, this game has a 5-4 score written on it.

If they can score one before the end of the second period, and then score once in the first 10 or 12 minuets of the third, then they'll have a great chance to take it to ot...but I'm a stupid optimist
