This seems like a steal to me. The Bears should be all over this one.

As least worth a couple of draft picks since Angelo screws them up anyway, right?

Personally, I hope the Bears never make a pick again.

Trade Cutler for him. At least make giving up those picks worth something. Let the Haney era begin.

We have another pick in the 3rd round so why not package a 2nd and a 3rd to get him. I would think you would get an A+ from everyone for day one of the draft getting Cutler and Boldin.

WTF, seriously, how can you not take this guy for a second?

Theres nobody in this draft in the second round who is going to have more impact than Boldin would for this team.

If this is true, then Angelo should be all over it, and if its true and he turtles he should be butt fucked by a fucking horse.

I'd wait to see how far the offers could fall til after the draft.

Nope. Like Chris said, I'd offer the second and third this year. I'd think a deal for him gets done before the draft.

Guys, they can't trade the third round pick they have since it's a compensatory. Sorry to ruin your fun.

How about 2nd Round pick, swap of 4th Round picks (AZ up to 119, Bears down to 131) and Vasher for Boldin?

I could see that deal getting done.

Wrong. There's probably one over the next ten years that will be better than Boldin. The problem is we only have a 1/32 chance to pick him. :P

I get awfully itchy about trading away almost every draft pick. This isn't Madden.

name one person that will be there in the second round that could impact the bears more than Boldin.

This is why Iam having doubts this is true, too many teams are looking for a WR.

Cup- Madden retired, what are they gonna call the name now? NFL2K?

Boldin is a premiere WR in the nfl. Cutler needs some talent at that position. right now the bears have about the least amount of talent there in the entire league. most of Angelo's success in the draft comes in the later rounds anyway. they should go for that in a heartbeat

Crap. I just turned on the tv expecting to watch the draft, and remembered they changed the time this year.

Also, the issue isn't only the draft pick. It's the 9m/year deal he's going to demand pre-trade. That's an awfully big cap number for a receiver with a lot of question marks still.

I'm sure that someone taken in the second round this year will have as big of an impact as Boldin. I don't know who that person is, but just because it's an unknown doesn't mean they aren't there.

For all the jokes about Dan Snyder and how he GMs, it's funny that the first thing fans do is turn into Dan Snyder on steroids when they play make-believe GM. "Fuck the salary cap, fuck the draft, we need veterans right now who can win immediately." How far has that gotten Washington?

I don't want Boldin. I think his production will go down after he gets paid and I think the offense in AZ made him look better than he was. Plus, he will cost too much.

I cant belive this, a second round pick isnt alot, especially for teams with multiple picks.

And WTF is this late start for the draft all about?

Cup- Its a smokey, a trade would have been made by now

I'm with Peter King when he says Jerry made a play for Boldin, but didn't go hard after him. I think Jerry just offered the 2nd and that was it. After listening to Jerry with Mully this morning, I think he is crazy for saying they don't need a WR anymore. They will have one of the worst groups in the NFL.

I would argue that Hester is already a very legitimate #2 with the possibility to take off this year. I'm really to the point that I am EXPECTING 1,000 yards from him this year.
