I bet Uncle Jerry doesn't like having one less gate because of this straight doubleheader instead of the stupid day-night garbage!

So what's your point? Does any CEO like to lose revenue?

What I meant by that remark, Tall Midget, is that MLB owners don't like old-fashioned doubleheaders with just 1 box office compared to the day-night variety such as the one the White Sox will play in Detroit July 24th when they head back to Comerica Park to make up for their earlier rainout. Besides, thanks to the unbalanced schedule, this is the Mariners' lone visit of the regular season. Besides, the last thing these two teams want to do is play Thursday, even though it's an off day for both.

Spmack, Jerry Owens leads off Game 1 in left field, Corky Miller catches, and Brent Lillibridge is at second base batting 9th...Jim Thome has a sore heel, only available to pinch hit...As for Chris Getz, he says he's feeling a lot better. Might we see #17 in Game 2 this eve or might we see Jayson Nix recalled?

SHARK, in what sense was your post a response to spmack's comment?

SHARK, I'm enjoying a tall glass of Traderspoint Creamery chocolate milk right now. This is my favorite brand of chocolate milk because it has an especially creamy texture, almost like it's a milkshake, which combines ice cream and milk to form a very thick and flavorful beverage. Go White Sox!!

I posted something and it didn't quite match...Anyway, if anyone's looking for the games today, WGN's CW9 & WGN America, DIRECTV 307, carries Game 1 at 4:05p, while Comcast SportsNet Plus, DIRECTV 666, carries Game 2 come 7-ish or so tonight due to the Bulls/Celtics' Game 5 on regular CSN. The game last night was supposed to be on WCIU 26 "The U" and the Chicago White Sox Television Network...I guess they can pre-empt "Tyler Perry's House of Payne," "The Bernie Mac Show" & "Frasier" only so often, let alone "Judge Mathis", "The People's Court" and "The Doctors"...

Hello...McFly? Where are the channel listings for Dish Network? :?

Tall Midget, guilty as charged... Just so you know, SHARK has DIRECTV, complete with the "MLB Extra Innings" package and now a sports ticker that now pops up on all the ESPNs and wherever sports are happening...You just hit the red button on the remote, and scores now appear anytime. :) As for DISH Network, can't help you with that one... :(

What is the sight where I can watch the local feeds on my computer without ordering some MLB package?

WGN needs to be quicker getting back from commercial. They missed 3pitches of an earlier at bat and just missed an out being made

They must be really moving this early game along, because the same thing has happened on the radio.

Jerry Owens is just garbage plain and simple. He's a poor man's DeWayne Wise if that's possible.
