Anyone got a quad-core sitting around that has 4GB or more RAM and at least 500MB? Need a server to do some demos and then throw it away. Tried Craigslist but found a lot of the people on there are scam artists with this stuff. Willing to pay a bit for it, but not much more then like $300.

You obviously couldn't build one for that price, have you tried the forums at Anandtech? They have a really good buy/sell/trade forum that's very active. Last I checked prices were really good. I'd build you one but we couldn't make it happen for $300. Used you could probably come close.
