So I know it happened a couple of hours ago, but I forgot to post about these guys and their interview with Bernie Bickerstaff - Kudos to Silvy for grillin' the assistant coach for the Bulls' (lack of) defensive strategy for dealing with Paul Pierce in the closing minutes of the last game. I'm paraphrasing, but Silvy was asking Bickerstaff why they didn't consider possibly throwing a double-team at Pierce, also commenting that he wasn't the only one pondering said situation, citing Stacey King, Bill Wennington and Doug Collins. Bickerstaff got all pissed off and said that it's easy for those guys to play armchair quarterback and that type of thing is not what the Bulls do...Who the hell do these coaches think they are? They think that they're impervious to criticism, that they've accomplished SO much with the Bulls and that they don't need to explain themselves when their game plan is obviously flawed!! I hope the clock is ticking on their stubborn, no talent asses (sorry this was so long-winded, now I'll go away)

Every time they have Bernie on, its always a good interview because Bernie is willing to dish it and take it....

have made Pierce dish it or better yet just take it from him...

Yeah, I have to admit that I applaud him for going on the show after Silverman has asked him some tough questions in the past, but it just seems pretty pompous of him to act like nobody knows what they're talking about when they criticize the Bulls. I'm irritated because these coaches refuse to make adjustments. In fact, S&W compared them to the Bears coaching staff because of their stubbornness...

Bernie is a great interview. he will take it, and dish it out and doesn't try to tear down the host or callers, bu laughing at them for them not knowing as much as they do, like Cooper does with Mully and Hanley, or when TJ who's your mama went after T Wizzler with the "Do you know the game? Did you ever play the game?"
