He's been saying that over the last week and won't back down even though everybody is telling him how big of a moron he is to keep promoting it. Even IF it was something that Konerko was able to play you don't do it just because of injury risk, but it's not even something worth putting up for debate. Just more proof that Sean doesn't belong on the airwaves.

He said that. This coming from a guy who says baseball is his favorite sport and he knows it better then the average fan. If he wants Konerko in left then he knows nothing about baseball. Big, fan they would lap the bases twice before Konerko would get to a ball. What a dumb ass Sean is.

What a fucking arrogant pud. What do you think will happen first at ESPN:

1. Salisbury admits he was wwrr..wrong about something
2. Carmen forms a solid opinion on an issue
3. Harry gets any respect from Mac

You can put anything imaginable on that list, and I'll still vote for option #1. Book it.

Just the suggestion of Paulie going to left field is so . . . I don't know . . . Harry. They have one Ridiculous Human Suggestion Box. Two are definitely NOT needed!

Better than the near whiplash Ozuna almost gives himself trying to catch the fly ball. - I know what your saying about Pods, though. He's a lead off specialist. As long as they have a strong center fielder, he's serviceable out there, but no money man.

It is sad about Ozuna's directional deficiencies because his arm is quite good.

I think Pods showed last year in the playoffs that he will be an asset. Ozuna is good off the bench, especially running. I would much rather find an (at least) average bat that can play center instead of B.A. He is a stud fielder, but I think when push comes to shove, they are going to need that bat at the end of the line up that can at least flirt with .240. That doesn't seem to be asking a ton.

OK, I'm going to propose a dumb trade. If San Diego falls out of the race and Anderson continues to struggle, how about trading for Dave Roberts to play CF for the rest of the year? He's a free agent after the season & could probably be had for a mid-level prospect. I'd rather have Roberts hitting leadoff and Pods hitting 9th.

Roberts isn't a bad name IF SD falls out of the race....but I don't think he'd be more than a 9th hitter. It would take a lot for the White Sox to move Podsednik out of the 1 hole.

On the season, Roberts is hitting .379 vs lefties (that's who Anderson is primarily facing) in limited opportunites (29 at bats), and is batting a very respectable .278 vs. righties in 176 at bats..

Points for proper qualification, AF (acknowledgment early of credibility of thought), but you lost me at San Diego falling out of it (I think that division is open until late in the year) and moving Pods. I just don't see that thought up for discussion.

That said, I like the idea of coming up with some thoughts - maybe ones that no one has thought of. Points for having the balls to throw it out there.

Oh really? Well, if that's the case then tune into the Mike North Morning Show every weekday from 6-10. Same logic.
