With enough steals and blocks add to those numbers. He needs to work on his passing game more, but as has been mentioned many times he's not very polished fundamentally.

I'm wouldn't call Ben Gordon fearless.

hated the pick then...hate it now. He's a clown who rebounds. Still gets lost on defense, still has no jumpshot, still yells and screams like he's something special. I can't wait till he leaves town.

This may be a dumb question, but why do the Bulls not give the ball to Derrick Rose at the top of the key, have the other post player set a pick for him, and let Rose attack the basket? You would tell Noah to be ready to rebound or get a quick pass near the basket for a dunk. You would tell Gordon/Salmons/Hinrich to be ready at the 3 point line for a shot or a kick and drive. You would tell the screener to move opposite Noah for the rebound on the other side or a dish and shot.

Why are the Bulls not doing this every play? Noah is perfect for this type of thing. All he can do is dunk and rebound. Rose has shown an amazing ability to fly through the air. Miller setting the screen allows for him to get open for a shot. Gordon and Salmons still would get the ball a ton. Hinrich would get some open 3's.

I honestly don't get why we get Ben Gordon and John Salmons facing the basket, dribbling, and then shooting. It works but I feel the above strategy would still get them the ball a ton with the defense scrambling to recover.

You need guys on your team to know their role. Noah knows his role and he has played pretty well since mid January when he was given mins. Since January 19th Noah is averaging 9.8 total rebounds and 3.7 offensive rebounds in only 31 mins. Over 48 mins those numbers would jump to 15.2 rebounds and 5.7 offensive rebounds. With numbers like that I don't care that he is a clown that doesn't have a jump shot. Hustling and grabbing rebounds is good enough for me. Noah provides something most NBA teams need and it appears that he is happy to do it. On top of that the guy is a winner. He took his game to another level in the playoffs.

Maybe a homeless man version of Rodman. Rodman scored more points earlier in his career and he took rebounding to another level. He has a career per 48 rebounding average of 19.8. That's insane. Even in his las year in the league he averaged 14 rebounds a game. He could also play defense at an all NBA level and Noah isn't even close yet.

Rodman's defense dropped off when he began the theatrics. While he was with the Bulls he was a great rebounder and underrated passer, but an average defender.
