WOW! What a horrific way to lose a game in OT. Deflected by your D-man.

Oh, did the red wings win? I wouldn't know because the NHL decided to not televise the game. Because why show a playoff hockey game when there is indycar qualifying on instead?

It was on the NHL Network.

Yeah, I don't have the NHL network, but at least some people had an ability to watch it.

I used to have DirectTV until I missed half of the superbowl 2 years ago because of a storm.

Why wouldn't the NHL put the Washington-Pittsburgh game on tomorrow? They are playing back-to-back, and they changed cities, this is just stupid, and if you're going to put them on, why not on NBC? Who is going to casually put on versus on a Saturday night? The best series with the two greatest stars, and you're putting them on versus on a Saturday night...YOU FAILED NHL.

Agreed, especially with the game that I am watching right now. Ovechkin scores late in the third to tie and now OT.

I just figured out why the game was played back-to-back...because there was a yanni concert on the date that they were supposed to play.

This is getting embarrassing

Carolina is pissing this series away. I like savard and have always had a man crush on st pierre, but Boston should have been beaten long ago, I don't know how a cam ward led team can be putting on back-to-back shit performances. They even had samsonov contributing!!! How could they have screwed this up.

My thoughts on the conference finals are I would like to see the Blackhawks win the series, but something tells me it will be like the last time they met the Wings in Conference Finals and lost in 5, hope not, but I see the Red Wings win today 4-1.

On the Eastern Conference side, I am a Penguins fan, think they will win, just hope it;s not like when we played Florida in the conference finals, I think in 96 and lost in 7, I think our team is better than that one and could get this one in 5.

So I hope wrong about one of these, but I see a Penguins vs Red Wings Final.

Ten years ago, I would have been all over the Penguins...now, I really don't care...if they make it to the Finals, I might watch, especially if they are playing the Hawks, but I can't say I'll be brokenhearted if the Hawks won this time...

With the Stanley Cup starting tommorow, I hope the Penguins win, but I will say for them to do it, they need to win one of the first 2 games.

If there was a sweep, I would say it would be the Penguins, because if the Wings went up 3-0, I think the Penguins would do all it could to win game 4.

By this logic, the Penguins have won all their series on the road, I don't see the Penguins winning in game 7, so I will say the Penguins in 5, split this weekend, win both home games and a nice overtime winner in Game 5 to get the cup.

The Pens to win this series, need to play like they played the Capitals.

I think the big problem right now is Fleury is allowing too many cheap goals, no way they 3rd goal should have been scored and I think beleive for the Pens too win, definetely have to win the next 2 at home.

Fleury played better and now the series 2-1, still the Wings. The Wings probably felt deflated after the 2nd period, when they outshot the Pens 14-4, but no goals.

Well were at the same point as last year when the Wings were up 2-1 and won game 4, hopefully history changes this year.

That powerkill that the penguins had in the second was amazing, I have never seen the detroit powerplay look so shitty... I don't think detroit had a shot on goal. thank god for that second period, maybe this year the NHL might have a good finals.

The penalty kill was the big thing, I think Malkin was mad about the penalty after he got it, he almost scored when he came out of the box.

Now the series is tied at 2, can the Penguins win in Detroit, Fleury is playing better, Malkin is the MVP so far of the series, hopefully the Penguins can win.

The Pens will have to bounce back from a poor performance, now they know if they want the cup, they will have to win in it Detroit. Even if the Pens lose the series, I hope they win the next game, so we at least get a Game 7.

Pens played great defense...Goalie stood on proverbial head.

Dirty little Sidney quit with his cheap shot stick work.

On the night before Game 7, I would have to think that Crosby has to play his best game of the series for the Pens to have a chance to win. He just has 1 assist and 1 goal. If the Red Wings win and Crosby gets no points, he will say that he has to work harder in the off-season, but how many of these chances do you get.

Look in other sports, who would have thought Marino when he went to his Super Bowl, that would be the only one, Lebron has made it to one final, now that Cavs may be in a little dissaray. In my opinoin, when you get this close you gotta go for it and play like you want it and would kill for it, kill probably not the word to use.

Now I have posted that if the Pens win, Malkin should be the MVP, but I think for the Penguins to win, they will need a performance from Crosby, if he wants to be the face of the league, like a hat trick, Malkin could be the guy, but I beleive the NHL wants it to be Crosby. During the Capitals series, it was Ovechkin vs Crosby. Will Crosby have a special Game 7, only time will tell.

I sure hope the Pens find a way to win. But I seriously doubt they do.

It was one thing to see the hawks young stars get shut down by lindstrom and zetterberg, but if crosby is the face of the league, he should be able to have more production than he has. I doubt that ovechkin would have been shutdown like this (I'm not saying, I'm just saying), I hope he breaks through tonight, but I highly doubt that will happen...

Random thought...less pierre mcguire next year, that guy is a dbag...

something tells me if the redwings lose, they are going to be complaining about the refs...but they just got a call, and crosby just got fucked up and is leaving the game...
