Are you seriously that much of a daft Caller Bob?

Who made the thread?
Most here are surely waiting for me to textual punt you thru a flaming table, yet Ive been extremely toned down on account of watching many of the invalids here knob slobbering you like you were some sort of Denise Richards with a mini dick, and who am I to take away shower nozzle nasterbation material for homely looking rejects from a guido convention who have a hard time growing facial hair?

You still never answered any of the questions as to why your have a man period over the air when somebody dare questions any move the White Sox make, and now your waving the White flag on account of your still stuck on stupid because nobody here will back you or your bleating up, and thats fine.

The Poofer- but then again, waving a white flag prolly gets you bonus points with your bromantic boss, its like reliving old times, eh?

Ranger, before you put the Supercup business to bed, you have to leave it with a Cup- like post such as:

Cup- He thinks we're laughing with him, but we are laughing at him.

Basically leaves room for the exception. Ranger has a spot in his Sox tainted Grey heart for Poofer edgy humor and insults.

ranger said the other day he doesn't want to hear about steroids anymore. he just wants the game cleared up.

well, Chris, if the media doesn't publicize the issue, why would MLB bother to do anything about it??

Unfortunately, Hatchetman, the steroid issue isn't going away anytime soon and will remain a topic on sports talk radio & TV shows, the Internet & message boards like this for quite sometime.

Why is the act of listening so difficult for some people? I said I'd like to think the game is clean and I want them to do whatever they have to do to fix it, but I am personally sick of hearing about steroids. I just want to watch baseball. I also admitted to the inherent hypocrisy in thinking that way.

And MLB should want to clean itself up regardless of the media attention. You don't only fix the things wrong with your organization because the media might find out. That's one way for an organization to fail. I'll assume you don't run one.

Hey Ranger, thanks for keeping caller Jim on for awhile on Saturday night after the 3-2 win over Texas. It was great "bad" radio. He was the guy that sounded like he was drunk and he stumbled and mumbled through his incoherent rant twice as you asked him to repeat it because he made no sense either time...fantastic!
Since it was at the end of my 6 hours drive back from Wisconsin, he was starting to make sense to me.... I think he was just saying that you keep defending these guys every year because your a mouthpiece for the team but how many chances should we keep giving them; mainly Jim Thome. Who cares? funny stuff, thanks.

Who cares if Ranger has credibility expected of Steve Stone types. His job is to host a postgame, present what happened, and open it to listeners. Sometimes he does get to analyst-ey, which I think he doesn't have to.

So right, the pea brain thought Jerry Owens would be a decent center fielder

Walt, you don't have the first clue what you're talking about. That's obvious. I said he would be fine in CF, not great. FINE. OK. NOTHING SPECIAL. SERVICEABLE. Those are all synonymous.

I never said he would be a good hitter. In fact, I said the odds were against him to be productive offensively.

You can waste a lot of needless energy arguing with us internet cretins Ranger.

I did think of you while watching Jermaine Dye fail to catch a pretty routine looking pop fly that landed a millimeter off the foul line Saturday night though. That's OK; give 'em hell.

I have no idea. I don't even care. But the guy had to give an address (which was on the form) and other information to get the prize, so I would assume it was real.

Dye misplayed a ball tonight, too, Irish. That will happen from time to time, but generally he has pretty good instincts out there...just not much speed.

Ranger, what's the deal with Alexei Ramirez? Last year, I thought he was the American League Rookie of the Year over the Rays' Evan Longoria, and I thought he did a really good job both at the plate and at second base...I know the White Sox think the world of Alexei as a shortstop long term, but shouldn't the Sox ponder sending him down to Triple "A" Charlotte if he continues to struggle like this? I could've sworn someone Ozzie modeled his managing style after, the Braves' Bobby Cox, did something similar with Rafael Furcal early in his career...While I don't remember Furcal getting sent to the minors, I thought Cox punished him for lack of hustle before he went to the Dodgers...

In my humble opinion the pre-post host's main responsibility on a flagship station is to present the events that have occurred and let the listeners chime in with opinions. Opinions are for flagship's listeners and hosts on fringe stations (which is why I was always against the Score becoming a flagship of any team.) This is not a reflection of the value I place on your opinion, Chris. Let the listeners talk and argue with one another, maybe even have two or three callers on at a time and let them yammer on. Just be a facilitator.

And he has a puss arm, being around ball players doesn't mean you are knowledgable.AS FOR YOUR SYNONYMS YOU ARE NOTHING SPECIAL AS A POST GAME GAME GUY, WHICH IN YOUR MIND MEANS FINE.

I think that would actually be quite boring and sometimes terrible. I'm pretty sure most people would agree with that.

Easy there, Ranger. I already used that angle with you. Get your own material, pal.
For the record, most of the time Walt is a howling halfwit. But like you, Walt is just alright with me, warts and all.
