I may be putting this event together, but I'm telling you I'll be the worst golfer out there. My philosophy is, if you can swing a bat, you can swing a golf club. Aiming the right way helps too...

Downers Grove isnt that far for me, but I could only make it the first two Sundays in June(saturdays are not good for me) Im on vacation and busy the other days.

Don't want to rain on CoF parade or duties but there are plenty of courses in the Western burbs around RealTime Sports that make sense for everyone. I know that is a favorite spot of this crew...Fox Run in Elk Grove Village comes to mind. It's nice enough for the better players and it's not too fancy where the first timers will feel overwhelmed. Also, it will be cheaper than Whisper Creek. Also, in that area are Glendale Lakes, Indian Lakes, Fresh Meadow, Village Greens of Woodridge.
