No crap, who would have dreamed he would have 4 more HRs than Soto at this point?

Hughes said Theriot has been hitting the weights.

No, he's been hitting and pulling the inside fastball. And as a result swinging and missing at the middle-outside pitches.
He needs to learn when to pull and when to inside-out the ball. He needs to stop reading the papers and realize he is not a HR hitter.

Theriot lately reminds me a lot of when #23 first started to hit a ball out of the park now and again.

Now, now. I'm not sayin'... well I guess I'm sayin', but no I'm not really sayin'.

But still...

Another asshole move by Bradley tonight, laying down a perfect bunt. We're paying him 30 million to hit homers against tough righties in the playoffs and he's risking Zambrano-ing himself by legging out a bunt. What a jerk.

That is a 100% Bullshit criticism of a player playing the game. The game Zambrano got hurt in, there were two successful bunts that inning that completely turned the game around. Bunting is part of the game. Your criticism is WAYYYY off base.

Why is getting on base an "asshole move"?

No kidding, I figured all my other posts in the thread defending Bradley would have clued people in. He didn't even have to run hard as they didn't bother making a play as it was such a good bunt.

Gaudin was wild but I thought he was pretty effective. 3 of the 4 on his line were allowed after he was lifted.
