Might agree with NWo about "the Show", but Mike will be around in another show format or with "others"

1- need to get rid of Annie. Nothing personal, just doesn't fit, never has never will.

2- Fred needs to go back with Murph or anyone else that will allow him to talk and grow a pair back.

3-Rock could be the answer. rock seems to be the only one to actually do and say what he wants. While it may end Rocks days at the Score after awhile, he would get him on the air, and if Ratings picked up while rock was there, Mike's power to pick and choose who he doesn;pt want to work with might be gone.

Mike, Joe B, and Rock....Nice generation Mix....Can talk other things besides sports and 2 guys that might actually tell Mike he is wrong.

The smartest thing the SCORE could do is to move B and B to mornings and put mike in the drive time with Hood. Hood is desperate for some regular work and he always was entertaining with Mike.

It would be the monsters on crack.

Though I am "Big Fan" of you big fan, I wonder why there is so much love for your boy Rock. I give him credit for making himself seen by posting here but he's never been honest and he never brings anything of substance to his posts. Just the company lines over and over. Any adult that wastes their time making MYSPACE web pages to talk about themselves has got other issues.

As far as I'm concerned, Rock is part of the problem. Not the answer.

Rock told us he doesn't want to do sports radio. He wants to spin reccords and take phone calls from pot heads about music.

That was pretty much the ZONE(94.7) and they peaked at a 1.9, it's very difficult to make money with a strictly hard rock station, Satelite is where you have to go for good eclectic music stations

Rock has been the only one in the Morning who tries to make things entertaining, but I can only guess his powers are very limited.

I think he has a good radio voice and the best sense of humor out of any of them, thus VASTLY Underused.

North should have made Rock his Jimmy Bud Weiser, His turd, His chunga, His Piranha Man. Instead North tried to promote Jen Jen as someone that would carry the torch of the Mike North to the Masses.

Now in order for Rock to accept such a position a great deal of humility must be displayed.

The closest thing I have ever heard of anything at the Score of doing that "Man on the Street" thing was Bleacher Babes and Dudes segment...Maybe Murph or Me and Z?

So I am not telling you to make it the Rock Morning Show, but implementing Rock in some way on a daily basis would be a vast improvement from Annie, Fred and Jen chiming in with compliments every time North coughs up some flem.

Rock really has nothing to offer, to me he is just a yes man for North. If you bundled up all the crew on that morning train wreck, you still wouldnt have much talent, but that is just my opinion.

I'm sure Rock is a great guy (and a giant yes man) but I have no need to ever hear him on a sports radio station. Someone who says himself that he doesnt want to be on the air doing sports, would be a train wreck if placed on the air.

Ah, well, then you call a bluff. Let's see:

You get Dave Baum to come in; he can talk anything, and you bring Les in. Interesting talk radio; no gimmicks.

It's either that, or simulcast Felicia Middlebrooks.

Guys - remember Baum's best format - doing something along the lines of "Extension 720" (in-studio guests and taking callers, on non-sports topics). As I recall, when Bull and Bear were bombing, Baum was in negotiations to take the gig. He was low-balled (note to Harvey - how the fuck can you lowball Dave Baum) and they end up giving the bank to North.

I think Baum could have (back then) given you better ratings than Bull & Bear, saved you $1.4 million a year in his salary alone, given you a better-quality show than MNMS, and let you keep local overnights. He probably would have given you comparable ratings (or at least respectable ratings based on his salary, etc).

Will this work today (my guess - no)? Would Baum take the morning show after Harvey's lowball offer in the past (my guess - no)? Could Baum do any worse than North (my guess - no)?

Howitt, Baum is a dinosaur. I don't think he wants to work full time any more. Even if he could i would be against it.

Maybe Rock should fake a stutter and then do "interviews" with anyone who sings the seventh inning stretch.

"R-R-R-R-Ronnie, did you e-e-ever fart in the c-c-c cather's face?"
