He might, Krazy. It still is interesting how much of my old "playbook" remains. Well, it'll be interesting to see what they do when I eventually get back and employ a few of the old colloqualisms and benchmarks... things they've continued to use. That's based on second-hand info I've heard. Haven't been listening. "Can't do it."

As i just wrote in the boredom thread

Carmen comes across as an arrogant prick.

I wish JD would have taken over for MAC. I would still be listening.

I've only listened a couple of times and found it rather odd that they are still trying to make this show an MJH clone. I always thought they were supposed to act like the person didn't even exist when someone leaves a radio show. Pretty lame....

Come on, Mac, the show is way different now, Harry T has more comedic input
for games etc, and well.........um........they changed the closing song to Offspring.

It's interesting how much you know for a guy who doesn't listen.

Reading is a skill douchebag. "The sentence based on second hand info" should tell you he doesn't listen to the show so when you pop you're head from blowing your buddy , take a deep breath and reread his post and maybe you could put a post together that makes sense . Your act got old months ago so wipe off you're chin and try and be funny here already.

For the record Carm came in about $610,000 cheaper than Mac. :drunken:

No doubt once Mac left Harry jumped into the front seat of the car with the big boys.

Yea Harry decided to grow a set once Mac left. That guy is worse than ever and makes the show unbearable. Carm is terrible as well. That show should have been squashed once Mac got the ax. Hope Jurk finds a good spot tho. He's awesome

So if you get fired from your job, do you want a bunch of your "friends" telling you every little thing that goes on there?

I wouldn' expect a guy who works at a car wash drying cars such as yourself to understand what it means to have built a show from the ground up and bring a station from the basement to the Penthouse and then have a douchebag like Justin Craig come in and dismantle it . In business you have people who are friends who tell you how things are fucked up since you left.

Goloop, you mean to tell me that Harry has more of a right to be sitting on that show than Mac? Be honest and tell me the show is better now then when Mac left.

Let me tell you a quick story a buddy from the baord told me . Everyone at 1000 can not stand J.L Craig and their is disention in the ranks over there and one advertiser in particular has had a issue with the way he was treated and pulled 90% of his ads space and that is directly related to Craig being an asshole.

If I'm let go in order to keep other assholes, I could give a crap about what goes on there. Let it go. If my friends told me about some douche baggery going on there, I would grin and say who gives a fuck?

Right, he should be more like you...you are one to let things go and say who gives a fuck. Why do you consistently contradict yourself? You call out mac and then engage in the same behaviors you criticize him for.

I don't think Carmen comes across as an arrogant prick, and for the record, he's the furthest thing from arrogant or a prick.

Don't hammer Carm because of a programming decision by 'Pastor Craig'.

When a caller disagrees with one of his absolutes he gets testy and hangs up on the caller. When he said he was the Basketball expert at ESPN...he was serious.

I dont know...I always felt like Carmen belonged on the SCORE yelling at callers.

It's not just callers, it's ANYONE who disagrees with him. He gets angry, then seemingly forgets he's the driver of a radio show, can't contain himself and won't let it go, which then devolves into personal attacks (at least the several times I've heard it happen).

I wouldn't call him an arrogant prick for it, but he's apparently got a lot to learn about being a radio host.

yep right there...killer v said it perfectly

also when Jeff Meller (sp) says something Carmen disagrees with he automatically goes to "Oh Ok Midway Jeff" like he's just a caller...whereas Carmen was schooled.
I know that may be true...but its kind of a dick move to constantly point it out.

Think Carmen is showing his age and lack of experience; he does come across like a smart-ass and an arrogant prick. He readily dismisses anyone and anything he doesn't fully agree with, rather than try to enagage and understand a differing opinion.
