I thought from many here that Dan had a partner? Maybe that will be trial by error with guys sitting in but this has given the Score the edge over the ESPN crap.

Congrats to Mac as I know he's very excited to be coming home again and he's chomping at the bit to get back on the air. But it comes at a cost for me for several reasons as I really enjoy the Sillvy and Waddle show but my loyality is to Mac and I hope ESPN has the smarts enough to move that show to the afternoon drive so I can continue to enjoy the show . Secondly, I lose my fucking off partner with afternoon Sox games and morning golf to the new show but it's all worth the entertainment factor that Mac will be providing from 9 to 1:30.

All the best and don't forget me as you're hockey expert in the fall.

I have similar feelings SSE. I hope they move W&S, but I have a feeling Waddle won't commit to something like that with his travel schedule, and his daughters (soccer).


Hopefully I am wrong, but if not, Podcasts are your friend.

I am happy for Mac, although it never was really in question for me that he would get a new show.

I predict that half hour transition is going to be the new can't miss radio...and that there will be some uncontrived anger between the two Dan's before Bears season is over. I may have to start taking a late lunch and logging on line to listen.

I don't like the time slot. 9-1 does not fit into dolphin's lifestyle. Don't try to tell me about podcasts. I cannot listen much at work and my life is spoken for the moment I walk in the door.

There will be much less promotional events. You never see midday shows out and about.

This is going to be a great year of radio. Each time Dan has started a new show he has put a tremendous amount of work into perfecting the product. I expect the same to be true this third time.

The crosstalk should get interestingly uncomfortable. Mac and Bernsie made no secret yesterday that they will bust each other's balls becuase they really dont like each other. IMHO Mac is gonna win those fights more times than not, so what is Terry gonna do? He had some moments yesterday where he tried to interject and be funny, but being a good friend to Mac vs. partner with Bernsie is tough.
Great to have Mac back.

Yeah, I guess no one else heard it, followed by Mac saying that if it gets too bad he will "leave at 1:12 and move up my tee off time" followed by Terry laughing. Plus anyone that has had a five minute conversation with either knows that they are not fans of each other.

I'm happy for Mcneil as I've listened to him since the Chet days and I know you're ecstatically happy for me. I just wish that he talks more basketball, particularly during basketball season. The football talk for me gets a little stale after awhile. The countdown to Bourbannais or whereever else they are holding training camp is not exactly exhilirating radio. Also his disregard for practically all things basketball "wake me when its over" hurts his overall credibility. I am happy that he is back however, because he's one of the few sports radio personalities who'll speak their mind.

It's good that Mac is back on 670 The SCORE, but not so good as far as time is concerned. With him now moving to middays, I have a tough decision to make between his new show and "Waddle & Silvy" on ESPN Radio 1000 and which one I'll tune into. Here's hoping that Tom & Marc eventually move their show to afternoon drive and replace what sounds like an "Afternoon Saloon" in disarray...

Exactly. He was joking, these guys get along ok, just like anyone else who may work together, they may disagree but they still get the job done. Let's sit back & enjoy the radio without needing a conspiracy theory.
