I would like to introduce a new term "PP Ratio" and NO, it is not how much you piss to how much you shit.

Production/Problem ratios.

No doubt Plex is a cocky SOB, which then causes problems, but the guy is really good.

If "CUTZ" and LOVIe are OK with him, I am OK with it and Vice Versa (Yes, this means if I am OK with it, Lovie and Cuts should be good)

Plex would boost the talk radio ratings and gun shop sales.

Burress committed a crime that comes with a mandatory minimum sentence of about a year, and the NY DA's office has thus far shown zero inclination that they want to plea down. There's a good chance he's going to spend about as much time in jail, perhaps more, than Michael Vick.

Screw Plaxico Burress. Irish Boy nailed it too. The guy is a NON-factor, as he'll be in the pokey.

They'd be better off signing Marvin Harrison for a year, or going hard and heavy after Brandon Marshall when he's a UFA after this season.

Or trade for Anquan Boldin after this season, as he'll be playing on the last year of his deal.

Why set the douche bag bar so low, at the stunning rate that Brandon Marshall is beating women he might be available soon as well. Could be the most felonious tandem of all time. Surely there are a few women living in the chicagoland area who could use a punch in the baby maker. Also with the hand gun laws plax might want to consider just jamming a taser or a can of mace into his skivvies this time. :P :P :P

I heard that Plax was already offered a plea deal by which he would have been out of jail already, but it had a ton of community service hours. Plax would have had to go to Rikers. Plax does not want ANY jail time whatsoever and turned it down.

That being said, I'd sign him.

Peter King was reporting a few weeks back that he's convinced that Harrison is retiring, and John Clayton reported that nobody has shown any interest in Harrison.

I thought I heard Mike Bloomberg, the New York Mayor not the part time ESPN Radio 1000 "SportsCenter" anchor, insist that Plaxico's going to spend time in jail...

He probably will be.

Brandon Marshall is tempting if he can not act like an ass bag for more than 5 minutes. I don't think I'd go for that one.

That is absolutely, 100% untrue. In fact, an agreement had been reached between the attorneys and Burress foolishly killed it because it called for a month in jail. He wants no jail time.

Yes, I saw this. He would have been getting out of jail right about now if he
would have taken the original deal. I thought it was 2 or 3 months in jail. There
is no way NYC is going to let him get out of this with no jail time, would be a
bad precident to set. Also there was 1000 hours of community service involved.

I don't think he'll be playing anywhere.
Can anyone else recall a team that added more than 5 new starters in an offseason and won their division the next year?
Last year atlanta, but I can't recall any other examples. Even if he's available, at what point do the bears start becoming like the 'skins that add a ton of players and don't win?

That's not what I had read, but I may have misunderstood what I was reading. Maybe they meant "they have shown zero inclination for a plea deal after Plexico rejected the first one."

I think that's the proper reading.

Well, now it looks like he'll be eligible to play this year, and supposedly the Jets' interest is flagging. I say be bold and sign him. You get one year out of the deal, and who knows what happens next year (I assume he'll be serving jail time at some point in '10).
