Would be great to have DaMaNaal there. I am working on
some prizes for a few Haar Haar moments for those able
to stick around. I have no qualms about teeing off whenever.
I have rain gear if it rains and I will bring an extra set of clubs
for whoever ends up grabbing them first. PM me if you need
them, first winner get's a set of Pings with some nice drivers
and putter. Prizes include tools and garage stuff for those
interested....

Any of the previously mentioned tee times works fine for me. I will probably shoot around 90, but I've never played Fox Run so I don't know how difficult the course is.

I'm figuring 18 holes to take us 3-4 Hrs. A dumb question: are we carting this? Also, I assume we're doing group scrambles, because otherwise this could take much longer...

Sometimes scrambles go quicker with carts but it doesn't matter to me
either way. I haven't played my own ball yet this year, just scrambles.
If we are trying to handicap groups though, I would likely shoot 80.

I went golfing on Saturday, first 9 was my own shots, second nine was a scramble...and I still was right around mid nineties...

On a public course like Fox Run on a weekend expect a minimum 4 hr round. IIRC there's a sub-300 yd par 4 that the guys who think they're big hitters (like the Lama) try to drive so they have to wait for the green to clear. Slows things up a bit.

I would put it on that green regularly when I played there every Sunday. You don't have to be that good, just be able to hit it straight.

It's a Sunday it will at least take 4 hours, rate comes with cart and no lower rate offered if you walk. I'd prefer to play my own ball but whatever, Fox Run isn't too diffucult.

Agreed, but the problem is not guys like you that can hit the green, it's the guys that think they can and still take 3 to get on.

Vince I will be sticking around for a couple beers afterwards before
heading back north. I am hoping to get there by 1:30 and maybe
hit a bucket of balls beforehand. I haven't touched a club in a
month. Looking forward to it, hopefully we get a little lucky with
the weather. I can deal with a little rain but if the lightining comes
I am heading in.

Yeah, the range in on Meacham road just south of Schaumburg. The course is off of Plum Grove just north of Wise Road. It's a 3 minute trek between them. The puttingf green was putting only for years.

That messed up about the driving range, but we'll make it work. I will probably stick around for a drink or two.
