This will be rough because I do like the S&W show. It's always good. Mac with a teammate to be names later is of indefinate quality. I'm gonna put on mac for the first week, but he's got to come with the goods immediately or I'm stickin with S&W.

Yeah that's kind of how I feel. The competition between them might make both shows really good but it blows I still have nothing for my afternoons.

Has Silvy said how he feels about it?

I was expecting something very different when I clicked on this topic. Disappointing.

I really love S&W as well and I hope the show would move to Afternoons but when Mac and I were at the Hawks game a few weeks week ago we met Carm and Sillvy down at the Brew Pub for a bit and Silvvy's say's to Mac with a look of sadness on his face "Rumor has it you're going up against us " and Mac at the time really not knowing say's "No, I don't think so " and Silvy let's out a breath as too say cool, ok..

At that point I knew Mac was going to that time slot as the old attage goes, your comptition usally knows what your going to do before you do.

I really think ESPN has no choice but to move S&W to the afternoons and let me also say that Merkin get's great guests and as I have said before that the guys behind the scenes really are a huge part of the success of ones show I think Randy does an awesome job. I'm sure Mac and Matt will surrond themselves with great guys as well.

I HATE that the shows are up against one another, as I would greatly prefer they be in differing time slots, so I could listen to both. That said, I will give Mac a chance and if I don't care for that days big topic, I will shift back to Silvy and Waddle. I would love to see them shift the show to afternoons though.

As others have said I don't think Waddle will go for that. I hope the competition makes both shows better but I don't think W&S are going to roll over nor are they going to get killed in the ratings. They have a really good show.

I am certainly going to be listening to MacPants, and giving them the benefit of the doubt. But, after about the first week or so, I will not hesitate to punch the button like I did with MJH.

I like S&W, but not as much as some of youse.

When Mac is gone, I flip to S&W. If Loho or Zaidman is on, I flip to S&W regardless of Mac being there or not.
