That show was terrible! MacNeil thinks he works at a gambling tip hotline/classic rock CD compilation sales telemarketing firm. Jurko is a tard. And Harry is an ass kissing front running clown who wants to be everyone's best friend and brings nothing at all to the table. My favorite was when the rumors that Doug Collins was going to get the Bulls job was out there and Harry railed on about how he was against it, but then a couple days later it broke that Collins got the job and all of the sudden Harry changed his mind and said now he likes it. Clown obviously wanted to start the ass kissing of yet another chicago sports coach/player.

pointing out gramatical errors on a message board is another way of saying you don't really have a valid argument. Sorry I don't proof read my posts before hitting the submit button, but thanks, I'm well aware of how to use proper grammar. Of course, its a little tough when for some reason the message you are writing only allows you to go down a certain amount of lines and as a result you can't actually see what you are typing as you are typing it. I'm new here so I don't know if that's normal, but it's definitely annoying.

But, like I said, you have no point. Your post is idiotic in light of the fact that there are only 2 sports stations in town and those of us that love sports radio have no choice but to listen to whateve is on, especially when we are in the car for an hour at 5:00 every day. It would be one thing if we were talking about a tv show and there wer 100s of other options, but to imply that I should be listening to something else when I have only two options and one of those options is usually at commercial when the other isn't is quit simply an idiotic thing to say.

Your premise was that MJH sucks and was "somewhere in the lower reaches of the top 50" when based on it's audience and appeal there's nothing to support that. It's like saying The Beatles were "somewhere in the lower reaches of the top 50." Sure, you can think they suck, that's an opinion, but when you try to extrapolate your feelings on them and quantify how much they suck, but are faced with overwhelming evidence that you are in the minority, I'd re-evaluate my ranking.

i'll stick with my original premise that you are incorrect with your statement that the MJH show was "somewhere in the lower reaches of the top 50" regardless of how many radio stations are available in the Chicago area via AM or FM.

If you want to base your top 50 solely on ratings then by all means be my guest. But, that is in no way any indication of whether or not the show is good or bad. Just because a lot of people like something doesn't make it good. Case in point, how do you explain the career of Mike North? Or Mike Murphy? They got ratings, does that mean they had good shows? Not by my standards. The majority of the people in this country are morons so equating popularity with quality do'esnt hold any merit in my book.

I think mac, jurko and harry had a god awful show, one of the worst on the radio in recent memory. To tell me that I'm wrong because of ratings is laughable.

And don't worry, I threw an intentional typo into my post so you have a comeback.
