Thought that was a very interesting thought Matty had about the difference in outcry and suspicion between MLB and the NFL. I definitely agree that I care less about steroids in the NFL than MLB, but I'm not sure if it had to do w/ the sanctity of baseball stats/records, the gladiator mentality Matty disccused w/ the NFL or some other reason that I don't even realize.

Curious as to everyone's thoughts.

glad to hear the 2 smartest guys at the Score agree on their thoughts about steroids in the NFL.

The difference to me is you shouldn't have to be a freak of nature to play baseball. These chemistry experiments are taking the game away from the 'every-man'. Last seasons AL MVP is 5'8" and the NL Cy Young winner weighs 175 lbs soaking wet. That's the way it should be because you don't have to be the tallest, strongest, biggest, fastest or most athletic to be a great baseball player.

I expect football players to be on something to be able to play that stupid game every week.

Meatpant's logic regarding why he was upset about steroid abuse in MLB but not in the NFL was one of the dumber moments in Score history.

Huh?
