10-15 minute segment on Fridays to wrap up the world news and weekend happenings around town, perhaps some handicapping. Mac's terrific overproduction skills would be important to keep this from getting out of control.

Better yet, bring him in during transition on Fridays for an all out gabfest and let Bernstein loose for a polysilabic throwdown.

I support any regular segment with people who are going to say a bunch of crazy shit. Mac should think about giving Mongo, Milt Pappas and Jimmy Piersall some time, too. Find some other characters to give the show more of an edge.
