Cubs fans are going to think they stepped into the twilight zone when Gavin Floyd goes 7, Thornton takes over the 8th and Jenks closes the 9th in a 2-1 Sox victory.

That would be a Win and a hold for my fantasy squad.

But I hope your wrong.

For some reason, Darrin Jackson isn't working today's Game 2 between the White Sox & Cubs with Ed Farmer. :? Chris Rongey will be in the booth with Ed today on 670 The SCORE & The Chicago White Sox Radio Network. Interesting to note, the Ranger almost called a Gavin Floyd no-hitter when he pinch hit for Farmer for a game last season...

DJ's grandmother is sick.

I'd like to see the Sox score more than 2 runs, but I would not complain about that sort of game, gd. I sure hope its Thornton in the game late if the lead for the Sox is small, because Linebrink has been giving it up quite often this season.

So all of this talk about making changes to the lineup, and it remains the same lineup verus righties. Unbelievable. I'm just going to sit here and hit myself over the head with a tack hammer.

I can see why people want pitchers to hit. Nothing quite as exciting as a player with no chance coming up to bat with the bases loaded.

I don't see much of Carlos Zambrano pitching. Does he point to the sky after every inning?

Those curveballs made Zambrano look silly.

Right. Good call Frank.
Aside from the one AB you saw today, he can actually hit the ball, which makes comments like GD's:

kinda dumb. Because a pitcher like Zambrano isn't exactly a "no chance" kind of situation.

Ok. For everyone 1 Zambrano who's a good hitter, there's a dozen pitchers who can't hit. EXCITING!

Wow, Fontenot is slow. He should never get forced out on that play.

So it's about your short attention span and your need for more offense. Ok it's bastards like you who killed the two line pass rule.

I'm not aware soccer terminology as it is the 4th most popular sport in this country.

I'm not getting the feel looking at it through cbssportsline. It certainly will be excting if it stays that way through the second half of the game.

2 of the most exciting Sox games I have ever seen were 1-0 finals.

Zambrano strikes out again. Lucky for him he has thrown so many pitches through 5 innings he will not be batting again.

Cubs bullpen....COME ON DOWN!
