Brian Anderson career 726 AB AVG .223 SLG .368

Zambrano 524 AB .239 AVG SLG .391

The only stats that matter:

Anderson 2-2, 1 RBI
Zambrano 0-2, 2K

Stupid. Apples and oranges. Compare pitchers' hitting stats with DH's and get back to me.

What was stupid was your original comment that Zambrano couldn't hit. I threw out the fact that he hits better than your starting CF.

I would hope that DH's can hit better than a pitcher.

But I like my baseball players, to you know, play baseball. Run, hit, field.

The rest of the game is a formality...Cubs will not be getting to 3 runs today.

Alexi Ramirez for Crosstown Classic MVP!

Is Lou starting to become resigned to the fact that even he can't bring a World Series title to the North side? :?

With the exception of Alexei's two-run homer, the White Sox are playing National League-style baseball in the Cubs' own ballpark...Ozzie wishes he could play this kind of ball 8.1 miles south...

This fuckin team. I can't watch them anymore. Now add to the fact that it doesn't appear likely that there will be new ownership before this season ends and it spells misery. We are done.

And even worse is this piss poor assclown Milton Bradley will probably slowly bring his average up to .300 by the end of the year and everyone will think that he was a good acquisition. If that's the case it will be the softest .300 ever recorded for a team. Wake me when he gets a hit in a meaningful situation.

FUCK

I sure hope its Thornton in the game late if the lead for the Sox is small, because Linebrink has been giving it up quite often this season.

We've just had a Geo Soto sighting! 5-5 now on back-to-back homers in the bottom 8th.
