While I have a closed mind I like the show.

I liked him with Terry in the way back machine.

I did not like him on ESPN. I think the show was too busy and he and Jurko sounded too much alike and while Up the Academy was one of my favorite movies Harry is an idiot. Plus I thought they kept to a schedule too much, with their segments an bits.

I think the dynamic on his new show is pretty good.

Waddle Silvy, Mac Meat. How can anybody accurately say "This show is great" or "Im totally in the W&S camp after 3 fucking days? Yeah, I had W&S on pretty much everyday up until Monday. I'm giving this show a fair chance. And a fair chance, to me anyway, is at least 2 or 3 solid weeks. You can't evaluate a brand new show with a brand new crew in 3 days and make your desicion on it.

Well, I guess you could if you want, but you're an idiot then.

So I am an idiot because I think it is better than what was there before?

Granted listening to raccoons mating sounded better than Hampton and Murph. I like Lawrence by himself.

Three days or three years I don't fucking care. I know what I like, and I like this show. I believe when this show hits its stride, it will be the best show on either station.

Oh, this show is off to a very promising start....no doubt about it.

But you're exactly right about "when this show hits full stride." On day #4, that is not going to happen. In week 4 or month 4, it most likely week.

I think the new show is clearly better than MJH was for the 18 months preceding its demise. As many have said, that show had become extremely stale and formulaic--and Harry and Jurko were just awful.

It's hard to tell exactly what kind of show this will be, though, because (as Frank says), it's still very much in its protean stages. The excitement of novelty hasn't yet worn off on the boys and there's a little too much self-consciousness about their performance to let more "natural" interactions develop.

I do know, though, that Spiegel's game show announcer's voice is a little annoying and that he seems to be plagued with the Holmesian flaw of imbuing pedestrian observations with self-important profundity. His discussion of Soriano yesterday afternoon was particularly flat.

Coincidentally, that was the title of my spoken-word debut album.

Excellent Fred Garvin / Chet Coppock reference in the open today.

I literally LOL'd. Actually running around screaming "LOL! LOL!". Kudos.

Geez.. thank God they aren't doing Morning Drive. They would have caused mutiple accidents because of the people they put to sleep. For being off since January one would think Mac would have more energy. Todays show brought abosultely nothing to the table.

In that case, the show and your posts have something in common...

Did the White Sox win the World Series last night? Oh wait, he wouldn't have simply just been tired he wouldn't have even made it into the studio if that had happened.

My bad.

WWN - you seem like an ok dude I don't think I have ever taken issue with anything you wrote, but my point being in all seriousness is that every show isn't going to be a home run. I think even Mac would admit to doing some shows on cruise control over the last couple of years.

But here's the thing - the people rushing to judgment so quickly in the Macpants marriage makes me laugh - Silvy and Waddle would have been off the air based on their first couple of weeks but ESPN let the chemistry age and grow and they have a nice show with good balance now.

All I am saying is give it some time.

You have to look at both sides, alot of people think this first week was great sports talk? So far after 6 days Transition...you can keep it.

If only WCKG gave Rover's Morning Glory six to eight more months...
