I think seeing Jake Fox as DH & Hoffpauer in LF (Sit Soriano) gives the Cubs
a much better hitting lineup. Will Blanco's strong glove/weak bat also be in the
Line-Up?

Shit, I thought if it lasted longer than four hours, you were to seek medical attention immediately... or was that fly to Vegas...

We miss Verlander. That's about the only good news going into the series. Detroit's bullpen ain't Cleveland's and Cleveland's starting pitching did fine save for Slowey. We'll see. Hopefully, the Cubs can win that series. I have my doubts.

This series is a good measuring stick for the Cubs. It's a shame they had to fly out for the game vs Atlanta and then fly afterwards to detroit, due to the make-up game. But they do get to miss Verlander, so we take the good with the bad. They need to get back on track and get a sustained winning streak, to get back on top of the division.

Christ, you're almost as predictable as Frank! <psst. This is where you slip in a zinger along the lines of "just like the Cubs continuing their WS drought!">

Two meatballs! Wow!
