Oh. I guess that's why.
Cubs have stranded 8 thru 6.

Good to see Javy is still Javy.

Couple of solid starts in a row, and he won't make it thru the 5th giving up fewer than 4+ runs in his next 2 starts.

On the Braves telecast, they just wished Larry Rothschild their best. What happened?

It's a good thing Lou decided to let Dempster bat in the top of the inning

Think if Von Joshua's aunt dies and he leaves for a couple days, they'll score 12 runs?

Yeah, they'll lose 13-12 one day and get shutout 1-0 then next day. Either way it translates into 0-2.
No matter who dies or is incapacitated, they still fucking blow.

To many blown chances. Theriot had a couple bad at bats. The at bat when he was 3-1 and hit a grounder off the end of the bat was horrible. His at bat in the 9th was horrible. Dempster is walking way to many hitters. The first run scoring because of a lead off walk to a guy hitting .196, that can't happen.

More proof that Fox isn't a everyday player. Takes a hanging breaking ball for strike 2, and a fastball for strike 3. Anytime him and Hoff start the same game, its not going to be good.

What? Cub fans can't have a sense of humor after a loss?

Death is not to be mocked!!!!!!!!

When someone dies...you post a sobbing smilie and move on with proper reverence.

Frank...to paraphrase the hilarious Killer V (whose on quite the one line zing roll lately)
...Someone on this planet may know Von Joshua's fictional aunt that didnt die...and right now theyre fictionally mourning. Show some fictional respect!!!!
