I'm not crazy about this pick, but who knows. I've got faith in Pax, and what he sees in this kid. I just think Aldridge meets a more pressing need, even if he can't contribute immediately.

I see Aldridge as the more polished of the two, I have a bad feeling about Thomas. To me Thomas is a lot of hype, with one good season in college. I think Roy would have fit best though as well

I don't get why Portland made this deal. It was fairly obvious that Aldridge was still gonna be there at 4. Plus, now they're going to have to pay him more, since he went 2 and not 4. Seems like Pax played them. He got his guy at a lower slot.

I agree Krause, Alridge is week and Tyrus is the shit, also he is cheaper than Aldridge. The move the Bulls made with Portland was very underated because it probably saves the Bulls 3 to 5 million dollars.

Nas, you don't think that the Bulls will save 3 million with the signing bonus and then how much will the difference be, I would think it would be in the millions.
