Well if you think he is going to hit .300 all season your a meatball. This is the same Pods who was unemployed when the Sox signed him in desperation. Like B&B said, trade him while you can, this won't last long.

Once again the bullpen blows it. Marmol shouldn't be pitching in the 8th anymore, until he earns it. Jose A. sucks. He may have a good arm, but he can't throw strikes either. What a fucking joke. Hendry, you fat ass, you can get some bullpen help at any moment now.

Well if you think he is "bad" right now, you're an even bigger meatball. I doubt he'll finish the season above .300, but he's certainly one of the hottest hitters going right now.

Another horrible outing by Marmol, this is getting ridiculous. He has Ramirez 0-2, you don't need to throw hit a strike, but of course he does and he slaps it past a slow Theriot.

He didn't throw a strike. He threw a slider down, away, and out of the zone and Ramirez went down and got it. It was a good piece of hitting. Tip your cap to Ramirez and move on.

You have the second best rotation in baseball and Dempster had a poor outing. That's what cost you the game.

Scotty Pods 2009 above average play is comparable to Jim Edmonds 2008 above average play. Unexpected but ride it out as long as you can.

That is exactly right. Dempster had trouble locating today and the result was a poor outing. That was the primary problem.

However you choose to analyze them, the only difference between either of these two teams and a bag of shit, is the fucking bag.
Christ, when is the start of training camp?

I don't want to be all sour about today's 8-7 White Sox winner over the Cubs, but the middle of the White Sox infield is starting to concern not just me, but Ozzie as well. Despite a clutch RBI single to tie the game, Alexei Ramirez committed 2 more errors at shortstop today, and Chris Getz went 0-for-4 this afternoon and his BA appears to be around .230 now after it rose to about .257 last weekend in Cincinnati, including his 1st ML home run. I think one of these two may be thisclose to being benched as the Sox get ready to head to Cleveland & Kansas City next week. While I'm confident that Getz can get his BA back up in addition to playing a solid second base defensively, I have a feeling that Ramirez and his errors defensively may be a lot closer to getting benched if he keeps getting wild with his throws.

If Ozzie thinks Rameriz is a good defensive player he is a real shitty judge of talent. Hey Coop, it's been 2 years teach your pitchers to hold a guy on 2nd

Fox sucks, Zambrano would of been a better option to hit.

Why would you have your 2nd basemen covering on steal, when there is a lefty up to bat? Thats dumb baseball, and cost us a run.

That run ain't your problem.......where the fuck has the "riot" been, he hasn't hit the ball well in over a month. Maybe Soto will point at the scoreboard and the Big Z can clock him

GuesFreel, s you can't expect to win with a lineup featuring: Fox, Blanco, Fukudome, Theriot, Bradley, and Soriano. The only guys swinging decent are Lee and Soto. Hendry should really be fired, if this shit doesn't turn around soon.

Horrible at bat by Soto. They got a slight shift on you, and they're giving you up the middle, and what does he do, hit it into the shift. Drive the fucking ball up the middle. Once again the Cubs fail to do something thats rather easy.
