Per ESPN.

I know, it belongs in the MLB section.

This trade does not make the Cub suck anymore than they already did, suck.

Do the Cards hit DeRo in front of Poo Holes or behind him? I say behind.

I say in front, because of his OBP.
DeRosa will not offer Poo Holes any protection. Would you pitch to 'Steroid Boy' out of fear for DeRosa? I sure wouldn't.

I don't think there is a hitter in baseball that would make you pitch to Roid-boy. DeRo is a good RBI guy and will have plenty of opportunities hitting behind Poo Holes. He's a hell of a lot better than the pile of crap the Cards have had hitting behind him this year.

That's true. But I am Cub fan, so I am more than familiar with steaming piles of crap.
Wherever they hit him, the Cardinal will still be better than the Cub.

Once again Hendry is asleep at the wheel, or to busy eating. I'm sure we could of came up with something better than Chris Perez.

Hendry trades DeRosa in the off season for 3 fringe prospects with no chance of helping the major league team in a year they're supposedly trying to win the WS then Cleveland trades him 3 months later and gets a young major league reliever and a prospect. Jim Hendry, the gift that keeps on giving.

The Cardinals got Derosa for a reliever & a player to be named later.
Jim Hendry should be fired for missing the boat on bringing Dero back to the Cubs.

Stone just said on CTL that the Indians told the Cubs they wanted Marshall and a mid level prospect, and Hendry said no.

What? If Hendry said no to that then he really should be fired immediatly.

What?
After all that money wisely invested in Soriano, Fukudome and Uncle Miltie?

Why now?
There is a new owner on the way.

Gotta wonder if Hendry's budget is frozen until the sale is finished. This one does hurt, as it would have really helped the Cubs to have re-aquired him and he winds up going to the teams division opponant and #1 rival.

I heard a couple times now that DeRosa is so versatile, he can even spell Pujols at first base.

Hey if they're gonna do that, can I suggest they do it when they play the Cubs? Thanks.
