Big thumbs down to all of the Chicago Bulls reporters in this city. The same tired discussion has been recycled about the Bulls having to go into luxury tax territory in order to resign Ben Gordon, or the need to dump salary in the coming months if they indeed sign him. Wrong! Get the scoop on Jerome James. What are you people doing? If the Bulls can secure a league-approved medical retirement for James, the situation is essentially resolved. It would have been better if they hadn't decided to waste over $2 million on bums like Taj Gibson and Aaron Gray, but either way, a James cap-exemption is the key to keeping Ben and not giving away Hinrich for nothing.
Granted, I'm not personally desperate to keep Ben. But that aside, it annoys me that so many professional journalists continue to overlook such an important element to the Bulls' current cap situation.
Wait, are you suggesting that journalists actually investigate things? I thought they were just supposed to repeat things and speculate.
