Yet my ticket prices didn't go down, still $100 a ticket per game for 2nd level (Club Level, sounds better) thus, no renewal for me.

With less money for team to spend on Free Agents, this gives players more reason to stay with their own teams. The Bulls saved $50 million by not offering Gordon a contract. The question is will any of the be FA's available next year be listening?

The cap could drop by another 2-5% next season as well so this strategy gets riskier and riskier.
