Yes, Harden is bad. This guy is stealing big time. You can add him to the list with Fukudome, Bradley, and Soriano. Once again they load the bases, but this time Theriot hits a double play. This is fucking brutal, and we couldn't score from 2nd on a single again.

Harden gives up way to many homeruns, 2 already today, and a triple off the wall. I guess this happens when your only a 2 pitch pitcher. As I type this, Soriano misplays another linedrive in left. Its time for to be sat for a week or so. Its a joke how shitty he is playing, and he seems not to give a damn either. I'll bet he will hit a solo homer later in the game when its about 12-0.

I would say that you are slightly exaggerating. He's the 4th-highest paid starter on the Cubs.....by that measure, I would say he's fine as a 4th starter. Not today obviously, but overall I'll take it.

Lou should of had some nuts and taken Soriano out when he took Harden out. This guy is a joke, and Brenly is kissing his ass right now. He hasn't had a hot streak since April, and he still hasn't had a hit since his benching. Gotta love the Brewers defense, they're keeping us in this game. Now if we could of cashed in the first 2 innings.

Well Jeff may be a candidate to be sent down also, he still only has a fastball. Tomorrows game is a must win, in my book. If we split this series it goes as a waste and we lose 4 games off the schedule. If we win, we gain 2 games on the Brewers. I know entering the day we were tied with the Brewers and Cardinals in the lost column, but we have 4 or 5 less games played then they do.

Why did Hendry release Casey McGehee this past offseason?? Man, he sure would be a nice backup 2B/3B option to have.

He had to make room for Aaron Miles. It's well documented that Hendry is a boob.

Well Soriano goes down again. I like that Lou moved him down in the order, but I wouldn't of put Fukudome at leadoff. Looks like Fuld will be sent down, since he won't sit Soriano or Bradley regularly, and Johnson will rotate with Fukudome.

That doesn't stop Keyser from banging his drum.
McGehee would be pretty damn good to have back. No doubt about it. There's a number of moves Hendry has made that sucked.

Got it.

Show me a GM who hasn't made a regrettable move.

Win tomorrow (I feel secure in letting this one go at this point), and they've accomplished something. Lose tomorrow and they've wasted yet another opportunity. That wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

I would bench Soriano again tomorrow, 0 for 9 in 2 games, and more bad fielding.

If hes hurting, it might be the back. I think the arm is fine, hes throwing 94-96 mph, but he is throwing lots of bad changeups.

That said, all they have to do is get in the post season. They're in the thick of the race in a wretched division. Then, and Lord knows we've seen this already, anything can happen.

LOL, when are Cubs fans finally going to realize the truth, the Cubs will NEVER win a world series. How can you not realize that by now? Especially after the last two years and 2003. Even the most optimistic Cubs fans has to know by now that its never gonna happen. N-E-V-E-R.

Seriously, you're :drunken: to say you "know they're gonna win a WS". Talk about living in denial.

The ultimate in arrogance and asshattery born by 2 a.m. (presumeably) drunken posting. People said the Sox would never win. They were wrong. You are as well. Good luck with the hangover.

This after all the hype about his winter workout routine and how he was in the best shape of his career. He doesn't look at all, like the guy who dominated hitters in 2008.

He just looks lost at the plate. They keep saying he's gonna get on a hot streak soon, but I'm not so sure thats true. Obviously Von Joshua is not really helping him. I can't believe how often he swings now, without making contact with the ball...even to foul it off. He can't seem to square anything up.

I felt (sorta) bad for him yesterday as took a pitch on a full count that definitely looked like ball 4, but was called a strike. Now it just gives him another excuse to swing at everything.

Well today is a must win, in my book. We are facing some dude named Burns, so we should pound him, but who knows with this team.

Is Soriano playing today? That guy needs to get a pre ASB vacation. Ride the pine until after the break. Maybe a 15 day stint on the DL. I can't stand watching him drop pops and misread just about anything coming his way, both in the field or at bat.
Now that I've said all that he's probably going to hit 2 home runs and drive in 5 or 6.

Yeah hes playing left, and batting 6th again. I highly doubt he hits 2 homers, let alone 1. At this point I would take a hard hit single, been a few weeks since he had a hard hit base hit, mostly been bloopers.

D-Lee carrying this team. Maybe people will give him the respect he deserves, and quit with the meatball Hoff shit. You will never see him put up the 46 homers again, but he can still give you 20-30, with a .280 to .300 average.
