I know you are probably thinking this is a hoax. But if you go to the whitesox.com website, go to their roster and click on Podsednik, it will direct you to his stats and it shows 2 pictures of him with captions below them. One of them reads that Podsednik was claimed off waivers on Friday by the Chicago Cubs. I wonder if they are trying now, to work out a trade or if Pods will simply be pulled back. Obviously kenny had him (along with many others) on waivers to gauge interest and see what kinds of deals might be possible. interesting...

The only thing that makes sense to me, is that Soriano's left knee really is worse than they are letting on and they are thinking about surgery and Pods would take over in LF and bat leadoff.
