Okay they're all weenie boys in Chicago sports media but apparently Zambrano was up in the press box and while he would have been completely justified in beating the crap out of a lot of the reporters, one called security because he said the reporters have it easy. Of course he is right. They have the easiest jobs in the world.

So who do you suppose the weenie boy was? I'm guessing it was Sullivan himself. He is the king Weenie.

Why would Zambrano be in the press box? Was he trying to pull a bradley?

He was supposedly up there havin some fun with everyone. He grabbed a mic or headset from Lenny Casper and sang Take Me Out To The Ballgame. No reason to call security

God damn... it pains me to think someone honestly thought this story was real. Sullivan was joking around about calling security, and anyone who couldn't tell that needs a quick check out.

Sullivan on w/ Mully & Hanley today. Sully gave something resembling the following description.

Zambrano and Guzman were flipping some bad frisbee. Sully calls out to them and gives a hand signal suggesting they suck. About ten minutes later, Sully emerges from the throne (piss box) to find Zambrano standing there. They have a light hearted exchange about what he is doing upstairs. Sully gives Z a tour of where the trib and sun times reporters sit. Z quips they got the easy life, not at war down on the field. Z goes and picks up the mike. Kasper turns on PA system so Z can crank out a few bars. All was in good fun. The quip about calling security was as expected in line with Sully reporting...the obvious tongue in cheek. Z is just a very large, talented kid having fun where he can. He hasn't had to grow up and probably won't. Not a bad life I would say.

The interesting part of the discussion was when Sully mentioned that Crane Kenney is now basically having a picnic on the field every day with his buds. Players are out there practicing, staying in shape and whatnot. Then you see Kenney farting around...while he still can was the sentiment the scribes seem to gather. Again, not news that Kenney's days are numbered, but how he is in fact taking advantage of every possible aspect of the team I found amusing.

Sully is dimunitive in stature, and not real easy on the eyes, but he does a decent job for me in covering the team. He appears to be a fan of the team, but is not a shill. A few years back, he got called into McFAIL's office for some reporting that rubbed the team the wrong way. Sully stuck to his guns (unbelievably had backing from McGrath in the episode). I would give him a solid grade and appreciate the sarcastic tone he takes on occasion.
