That guy could score in bunches. Defense might be a little better then Ben.
I might be wrong. I defer to the b-ball experts on this board. I'm surprised
he still was playing.

They have a Ben Gordon type of player that knows his role. When Pargo is on he can score in bunches. It's nice to get Rose another shooter.

If I remember right, Pargo was outstanding when all he was asked to do was come in and catch and shoot.
That talent should be able to be exploited by Rose very nicely. I am certainly no BB expert, but I would think this is a good signing.

In Phil Jackson's book, I believe he said one of his regrets at the time was not offering Pargo a contract after he became a FA after that season he played with the Lakers.

If memory serves me he was above average defensively, also.

This is exactly the type of player the Bulls need, good job.

But does Pargo have the patience of a Ben Gordon?

Pargo played in Europe last year didn't he????? I been to this rodeo before doesn't do a thing for this team. If he scores 40 points in a month I would be surprised.Almost a Lindsey Hunter like pickup .....nothing.......nada.

Walt No Neck is just mad his guy signed elsewhere. He is not going to like any move this team makes.

I like this signing. He does a few Ben Gordon things at 20% of the cost. No, he's not the same player, but they inked him to a one year deal, which makes this a nice little stop-gap until they can bring in a legit catch and shoot guy to play alongside Rose in 2010.

Wrong again. Being a Bulls fan from the get go I want them to get an All-Star caliber center.
They haven't had a center in my lifetime. If they Bears can finally get a QB the Bulls can get a center. If anyone is think the A-train was great ...wrong again!

I understand what you're saying, Walt, but who was the All-Star center during the Bulls' dynasty?? The Lakers don't currently have a dominant center. I think that as long as most of the other pieces are in place and we have someone strong that D-Rose can feed down low, we can make it work...

I would be good with that. But reports right now say the Suns are not getting rid of him.
