I know he did meet with the Score already but not sure of the outcome.I think Mac said Jurkos non-compete runs out on Sept 1?

It's not a good idea to look back.

Allow us to fondly remember MJH, just like we do HFC, which was also losing it's steam when it was broken up.

It occurs to me, that Jurko is a guy who might really benefit from the more relaxed on-air attitude at the Score. He could let loose more where humor is concerned and I think he would be a more enjoyable listen there....especially without Harry, who he clearly dislikes. He was always a better, more enthusiastic participant in the show whenever Harry was absent, during Dan's days at the Afternoon saloon.

I'm with you Elmhurst Steve. And while this is going to sound extremely ALS'er.... if Mac thinks Jurko would be a positive addition to the show, I would tend to agree.

Jurko is useless. He is basically Dan Hampton minus the stuttering. Outside of the NFL, he brings nothing to the table. If The Score wanted to bring him in to be a new co-host of Chicago NFL Live, I would have no problem with that. But he should be in hibernation mode for at least 6 months out of the year, just like Doug & O'B.

I disagree. I think Jurko has a much better sense of humor and is actually much smarter than Hampton. I know, smarter?? But I believe that Jurko uses that whole duh schtick... as a means of getting out of the heavier lifting. I believe that he's lazy, but actually pretty smart. He wants to do as little as possible, for as much compensation possible. If he wanted to work a bit more and prepare a bit more, he could be a whole lot more valuable. As stated, I think this station, would bring out the best in him, with the more liberal attitude as to what can/can't be said on-air. I believe you would get a better, more entertaining Jurko.

Jurko's ship has sailed, let someone else ride Mac's coattails. Jurko was nothing special without Mac on MVP and average with him.

Too screamy and farty. It kills me whenever Goff plays that Carell drop from Anchorman after Mulligan reads.

Dan Hampton is not an entertaining broadcaster, nor is he very likable. Jurko is both.

Jurko also brings his A-Game when it comes to the skin of the pig, NASCAR and hockey.

Not to mention European soccer. ...not that anybody cares.

Thanks for mentioning Doug and OB. I'm really bummed that we're gonna get Hampton this fall and not Uncle Fuzzy and his semi-senile sidekick OB. Damn it!

I heard Hampton on with Hub tonight.

As a radio personality, Jurko runs circles around that mumblin' stumblin' opinionated Hall of Famer.

Jurko is a morning person btw... All hunters are.

Hey, imagine this... you'd hardly have to change the theme song...

Monsters,
Mike and Dan and Jurko in the Morning...

I love the fact that Jurko is volunteering on the air that he's been waking up at 4AM lately. You go Jurko!

He can still bring his A-game when he wants. They were on the subject of Zederman paying $180 for a "Affliction" Tshirt, and Jurko says, "Who pays $180 for a Tshirt...Oh, Harry does for the extra material!"

LOL... I caught that one too Frank. Hello Pot... Kettle here...

I emailed D-Z this link for Bears Camp - since he's such an Affliction fan. For some reason, this just doesn't work for me as a Bears fan:
