Agree, he is the right handed Cotts. Never throws strikes, 3 walks in a third of an inning so far. When he came in I knew the Cardinals were having a big inning. Fucking Soriano drops another ball, should be a 2nd error of the game, but he still won't have one. Sit his ass for the rest of the weekend. He is killing this team in the field and at the plate.

This is what hate about this damn team. Lou trots out Heilman in the worst situations and he pisses the bed every damn time.

Soriano has 3 more hits in the last week than Harden had in 2 at bats.

That was a great inning from Heilman.

34 pitches, 2 hits, 3 walks, 4 walks, 0 K's.

Hey Lou, can you please use him the rest of the weekend?

That way, I can turn the Cubs games off for the rest of the year and start concentrating on my fantasy football draft.

Fucking Moron.

Once again a horrible effort by this team, but mainly Soriano, Harden, and Heilman. Carpenter had average stuff at best, but they let him off the hook. Soriano shouldn't play the rest of the weekend.

I forgot about Jeff S. he needs to go also. Once again no command from him and a misplay on a bunt. I'm guessing the Cubs will be happy with a split at this point. I still say you need 3 of 4, but this team just doesn't have the balls to come in and kick ass like that.

Was Soriano notified that he was playing today? That was a "ready to play" performance? Pfft. Fuck you, sit down, and shut the fuck up. Don't come back until you are "ready"... whatever the fuck you think that means. It means something different to me, I guess.

Working away from a radio and computer today and damned glad I was. I'm taking my youngest to the noon game Sunday. I wonder how many new words he's going to learn? "Daddy, I didn't know you could put shit and fuck together like that!" This may well be a mistake and a learning experience. Joy.

Carpenter was very beatable today from what I've read and the Cubs just stunk up the joint. Get over the case of HUA and start paying attention. It's like some of these guys have ADHDHLAS. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Hey Look A Squirrel!
Idiots.

Okay, I'm better now.

Heilman looks like Ed Lynch, reason enough to cut him.
Larussa still has the fire & the passion,Lou is old & tired.

Nas,
With all due respect, hitting 6 HR's in a 2 week span or some other
torrid "hot" streak does not make-up for a season long suckfest!
This getting hot bullshit is a myth with Soriano.
I know what I'm looking at,it's called a lousy baseball player!

some of his stuff is over the top, but i think his delivery sells it the most. if you're not buyin' it, you won't like it. his starbucks bit is by far my favorite.

there are better comedians out there, but i don't think he's overrated.

Based on the starting pitching for todays game, the outcome was no great surprise. Tomorrows pairing looks far more favorable.

Only way Cubs do any BIG moves if they lose the next 3.
Hendry has to be nervous. He made some dumb trades.

Trades? I don't know about that.

Bradley & Soriano? Pretty bad signings. And signings that the Cubs are going to have to live with. Yesterday's game made me realize that the Cardinals would never consider even signing guys like Soriano and Bradley, while Hendry couldn't wait to nab both of them.

One of the worst teams money can buy.

got a feeling they are swept this series, and it would be just typical cubs.

this whole year is typical. nothing to be excited about, everything to be apathetic about. at least last year they gave us a fun summer. i can't wait for EPL in august, and then college football & NFL start up...and i won't miss baseball.

Did anyone notice Bradley catch that third out in the top of the 4th inning? He started to throw the ball into the crowd, then stopped himself and looked back at the field to make sure there were 3 outs.
