My Friends,
Getaway lineups drive me crazy. But it is is almost a relief to see Hoffpauir in the lineup replacing Mr. Bradley. And, Mr. Bradley ought to be concerned that when others are getting his At-Bats they are hitting the ball.
As I type this, Soriano turned a single into a double.
Is there hope? Could this team be surging at the right time of the year?
Then again this is the Nationals. I will wait until after the Philadelphia trip.
Your pal
Evil.

P.S. I DO love you! Yes! You!

After the Cubs went up 8-2, you would think Hart would attack the strike zone more, but he continued to try to nibble the corner. He looks like a guy headed back to AAA, perhaps right after this start. Jake Fox really looks shaky at 3rd in this game, but continues to swing the bat well. Micah with another couple of hits, looks like he's getting sharper with the more regular at bats he has seen of late. It may be a lousy Nationals team, but to sweep a 4 game series against anyone, is nice.

Agree its nice, but we need 2 of 3 from the Phillies. They have pushed Hammels back, so we won't be seeing him. Hart does need to go to the minors, he pitches scared. Alot of the guys started swinging better, but I'll credit the bad pitching we were seeing. Hopefully Lilly's knee holds up, and Dempster gets back soon, so we get the rotation back to the way it should be.

once again; come home from my run, we're up 11-2. this is pretty sweet.

we will be lucky to take a game from the phillies. they are the deadliest team in the NL.

What is with the negative waves man? Can't you say something joyous and hopeful for a change? (Name the movie)

I would like Hendry to find another catcher. I know they're hard to find, but Hill is bad and we don't have a true backup for him. Hendry can also release Baker and Heilman anytime now.

For the sake of Cub Nation, I think you must go running during each game, until this fails to repeat.
